Nice work, Kevin! Those washes really make their details pop!! It's amazing how much the original thick paint coats covered so much of the details.
I think my favorites are the first two. I love the subtle color blends on the Maiasaura and the Ouranosaurus is a classic! ;D
I'm curious. Which ones do you think turned out best?

The Ouranosaurus (which I have not seen before) is a 100% improvement on the original. The Edmontonia looks more realistic, too. The Carnotaurus, Steg. and Galli. also turned out very nicely. *AHEM* We shall not speak of the Triceratops again.

I really like them all, but ourano is my favorite! I don't really care for the styracosaurus though, that's the only one where the original paint was better I think Have you painted any more kaiyodos kev? I remember you had re-done the huayangosaurus, but I don't remember if there were others...

Wow that ouranosaurus is absolutely beautiful. Perfect color choice for that one in my opinion. I also really like the black mask pattern on the pachy's eyes.

I remember you had re-done the huayangosaurus, but I don't remember if there were others... I think I want to address this some. I never, ever claim that my paint jobs are "bettert than the original". Aside from paint thickness and application that is. Different than the original, but not necessarily better, which is a judgement that is quite arbitrary and depends on who is viewing. Dig? My goal is just to personalize them, and just sorta....make them more me. Not to outdo any company, or other member. Now, if you want to see a master at work, get Tomhet to show you more of his work. Indeed I have seen some, and y'all should kneel down and BEG for him to post more of it..... No, I have not painted any other Kaiyodos. For some reason, that one just really bugged me. They are all outrageously painted, but this one just seemed poorly executed. For the most part though, I will just keep them as is. Some, like the fish and inverts, are actually semi-transparent and such, and painting THEM really will ruin the figure. Bucketfoot....ya, I know about the trike. But it's ok. It is a fave of yours, no big. We all have that one figure..... ;D
