Any chance of you making the beak a little longer and narrower as well...? Not that I know much about pterosaurs, but I think the beak gets narrower than that (narrower as in lower). Otherwise great work. I'd consider it unreasonable nitpicking but you're really good at this, and it probably wouldn't be too much of a bother for you. Also of course it's Schleich's work and not yours!

Also of course it's Schleich's work and not yours! You are right, but I have so little time at the moment (anyone else see a resemblance to the Kenner Jurassic Park Quetz. "Firebeak" figure? I sure do.) The neck ought to be longer, and that would be easier to do ... ..but that thing called TIME is escaping me! You are right though. Both those points might bother me til I fix them!

Looks mucho better, I've got that figure also and it's been driving me crazy with that "S" neck also. At least I know something can be done about it.

Much better, if only schleich had made it that way!
Also-- I gotta be nit-picky here --While your putty is still soft, you might as well add the pteroid bones as well ;D
Your customization has made me re-think about picking up this figure. Was it hard to straighten the neck?

Yeah I really wanna know what the beak on this animal is supposed to look like. The images I keep pulling up on the internet are so inconsistent.

Sorry bucket, but I like to think that the model in my hands is how they really could have looked, and when there's glaring inaccuracies like that I can't hold back ;D Also-- Isn't the body too long on this figure? Or is it just the legs that make it seem long? I definitely see the resemblance to "fire beak"... This would be AWESOME painted that way!

Yes, the body is too long, I chopped 1/2 in (12mm) out of mine . Probably still too long.

I'm not sure you can save this guy, bucket. If anyone could, it would be you, but I'm just not convinced here.

Pictures please Well, Ok. But I don't know why anybody would want to see a 1/2in (12mm) piece of plastic. Here it is ;D Oh, you wanted to see a picture of the Quetzalcoatlus? Later today but only with a base coat of paint, not the finished product.
