Triceratops' skulls go back several million years prior to the first Torosaurus skull. Yet no Toro skulls til just before K/T. To be fair, isn't Torosaurus utahensis older than that?

OK - so my info may not be up-to-date. So sue me. Lets just say I am emotionally invested in the idea of two separate species - until its proven otherwise. Look, this was beaten to death in another thread that I did not join as it did not interest me to discuss a topic based on pure speculation for which there is scant evidence. Lets get back on the topic of Battas, shall we? ;D ;D

Regarding the Battat, I'm looking forward to seeing it. What's your plan for the pose? For example, how will the head be positioned? I am currently mulling that one over. Usually the final decision isn't made til I start working and "see" the possibilities as I work the figure. I plan only generally for these conversions, and then they sort of 'evolve' as I start cutting and re-positioning. I guess you could say that I am a 'hands-on' guy. I can't plan anything like that in advance with any great detail. My mind doesn't work that way. I am partial to a rearing, roaring stance, but don't hold me to it yet. Encouragement and suggestions are always welcome! (Meaning the more y'all bug me, the faster it will get done. As soon as the extra Trike comes in the mail from another member of this forum, that is .....)
