So here is the Safari 2008 Giga repainted. I actually started with the Giga first before the Spino, but had so much problem with keeping it standing that I almost gave up on it. After a year, the ankles started to "slide" due to the figures weight! Not sure if its just mine or others had the same problem. After I finished the Spino, I decided to go back and finish the Giga. I wanted them to sort of look similar, and yet different. I wanted them to look good as a pair when displayed next to each other. Anyway, with a little patience and lots of heating and bending the ankles, I finally finished the Giga ;D The funny thing is that these two are actually the most "subdued" of all my repaints, right? ;D ;D ;D So here they are, the dueling top predators, Giganotosaurus Vs Spinosaurus! Giganotosaurus full body ( had horrible time with the light, so its not as clear)  another attempt take indoors  The head of Giganotosaur ( inspired by a lizard ;D)  Here they are side-by-side!  Head-to-Head  Spino looking back....  There you have it, my final repainted figures for 2009! Next will be a year end round up of the entire repainted collection! Cool? Bonus: Here are some snacks for are hungry predators! ;D Some plump Lambeosaurs! ;D ; ;DLOL! Lambeo # 1  Lambeo # 2  And here they are ready to serve! ;D  |

You can always paint yourself another pair Boki. I considered doing that, but I can't repaint it exactly as these guys. I may end up declining the offer and just keep them. I know I may regret it later, after all it's a nice chunk of "change" ( $100 for the pair! ). However, I'm not much of a big seller, and I only intended to repaint the figures for my sole (and you guys ) enjoyment. No plans of selling them at all. I'm happy with them despite the Gigas constant falling on her nose! Those darn legs! ;D |
