Yes, their pose is strange, in a unique way I like the styrac. I mean, its really awful in terms of accuracy, but its really awful in such a unique and stylized way. It reminds me of an old Japanese movie monster for some reason.

Hi all, I have a few dinosaurs of an unknown brand. Wonder if anybody knows where they are from. I had them for about 15 years. It's the black Tyrannosaurus in the background, the blue Dimetrodon beside it, brown Triceratops to the right and brown Plesiosaur and Sauropod behind the Carnegie Stegosaurus and Triceratops. Thanks! Attachments:

That Elasmosaurus is AAA too if I'm not mistaken, but an old model.

Yep. Managed to find a picture of the Elasmosaurus. It is from AAA. The brown sauropod is very similar to the Elasmosaurus. Same soft vinyl and skin texture. Even the eyes are painted similarly. The Triceratops is made from the same material too. The Tyrannosaurs... abit of the unknown.

That T.rex seems to be a quite abundant Chinasaur. I traded some stuff with my neighbour´s daughter this morning and saw it even twice in her shelves.

Can anyone identify the dinosaurs in the package? It is from 1975: The steg and ankly look to be marx molds, and the one in the center of the second and center of the third row look like cherilea knockoffs. The others I don't know. I feel like I have seen the cerato in the upper left corner before.

I believe they're Ja-Ru's. At least the Marx-like ones.

Simon, could it be one of the Bandai models (they put out two series of 5)? It looks markedly like one of the figures (Mother & offspring Triceratops) from the first set of 5 from the angle in the photo.

They were packaged in dioramas. the series in which the tyrannosaurus, pteranodon, ankylosaurus and amargasaurus is sega vignetteum. i have the pteranodon and it's vol. 2, so there should be at least two series of these vignetteums. in the thread link below you can see sarcasmosaur lists a sega vignetteum saichania (scroll down a little): dinotoyforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=toys&action=display&thread=2218&page=2also, the ebay seller samsonchik2008 lists a similiar figure with a different paint job the figure as "Rare Japan SEGA Triceratops Dinosaur Gashapon". but see the photo of the bottom, it reads sega ( www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Japan-SEGA-Triceratops-Dinosaur-Gashapon-/150721250711?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2317afc597#ht_914wt_952 ). my pteranodon's bottom too says "© sega made in china" so i don't know if it's the sega vignetteum but hope this helps a little..

Hi, I found some dinosaur toys I cannot completely identify. The first looks like a baby T-rex or raptor. There is nothing to identify it, like a brand name, year, species, etc. Just MADE IN CHINA on the bottom right foot. Its mouth opens: The other one looks like a T-rex or something similar. On the right foot it says Jasman ® 1997 © D.I 9503168 CHINA If anyone can tell me the species and/or toy-line or give me a link to an informative website, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Both are probably T. rex. Can't say much about the company for the first one. If the second one says Jasman then it probably was made by Jasman, a company that has made some other dinosaurs as well.

I think the chubby t.rex is supposed to be the character GON from the manga books of the same name.
