That is an amazing paint job for such a small figure Brontodocus!

Thanks, stoneage! Actually, the model isn't that small, 167 mm long, about twice as long as a Dinotales figure. Still I had to repaint the eyes about four times or so.

Very nice paint on the Proto, Bronto! Now we can haggle about those beetle figures, if you want.

That sure is a beautiful Protoceratops! Judging from the pictures I've seen here it's already gorgeous unpainted, but you really pulled it off - it's now an even bigger beauty!

Finally the first painted battlebrak figure. Marvelous! One can see the details much better now - looking forward to the Velociraptor .

Thanks, all! Aaaaah, Radman, I almost forgot about the flying beetles! If only I could figure out something good for a trade which you don't already have. The rough texture of the material "White, Strong & Flexible" makes the figures less easy to paint. Of course I already thought about painting the Velociraptor (hey, the mouth interior is already done, but that's all) but I am still undecided about the colours. In the meantime, I nearly forgot to post pictures of the Kaiyodo Dinosaur Expo 2006 figures which I received a few days before Christmas: Fukuisaurus Fukuisaurus Skeleton - apparently the forelimbs are made of pewter. Fukuiraptor Fukuiraptor Skeleton They look fine now but it was a nightmare when I opened the boxes - only the Fukuisaurus was undamaged. The Fukuisaurus skeleton had the skull and both arms broken off, the Fukuiraptor skeleton also had the skull broken off. The Fukuiraptor came in four pieces. I'm absolutely convinced that it wasn't the seller's fault, the original boxes were undamaged but the customs office had opened them and it looked as if they were unable to put the figures back correctly without breaking them. The seller wrote the true value on the parcel which would normally mean that I'd have to pay an additional 19% tax but instead they labelled it as "no customs fee required" and just sent the parcel to me. At least I have some practice with epoxy and I'm glad that the fractures are virtually invisible now.

My internet connection didn't work between Dec., 16th and Jan, 4th so I'm happy it works again. Anyway, I painted the Battle_Brak Protoceratops: I'm thinking of painting the tiny "1/144" shapeways models by David Krentz, too but this is probably going to be really tough. ;D Wow, very impressive paint job on that figure! Really beautifully executed I really should order me one of those ;D

Okay, Boki and Himmapaan, here are two more shapeways 3d prints. And I'd say these two are a must. Tyrannosaurus "1:144", shapeways 3d print by David Krentz. Material: "Transparent Detail". Edmontosaurus "1:144", shapeways 3d print by David Krentz. Material: "Transparent Detail".

When I get that Tyrannosaurus, I'll definitely be getting it in transparent plastic. Looks great.

I'm very curious how you ordered these from Krentz. I haven't heard a reply from him - what is the most effective way of getting his attention?

BRILLIANT ;D! The rex seems to be standing perfectly on its feet. This was my only concern about the figure. I have to wait for mine until Monday. Every model Krentz is creating is beautiful and accurate. I don't know why he's neglecting the Antediluvia Collection. Urzeitshop also only has a few left of these. Fortunately I already have them all .
