So, is anyone out there interested in a figure of the Palaeozoic shark relative Echinochimaera? I have may have some spares of the Prehistoric Shark dig set figure.
Cost? Price of a dig set ($20), postage is free to anywhere.
PM me if anyone is interested. I don't have a photo handy, but I can get one later. They are somewhat cartoon-ish, but solid PVC.
If nothing else, this may be the only Echinochimaera to get made ever. Even if a bunch of other small, ~3", toob-sized prehistoric sharks were made at some soon point, I know for a fact that Echinochimaera would not be among them, despite its original presence on a hypothetical list about which I am saying nothing...

I have a shark set and the sharks really aren't all that terrible. They're pretty decent.

Do they make a prehistoric shark tube? ;D The first post in this thread stated that they were out of a "dig" set..... And unfortunately, nobody makes a prehistoric shark toob. Safari would probably be able to pull it off nicely (along with the prehistoric crocodiles, amphibians, and fish toobs!). Too bad they will probably never make any of those.

If nothing else, there wouldn't be an Echinochimaera...seriously, there wouldn't be one. No sarcasm or winks here--there would not be an Echinochimaera. Hey thanks. My bad on not knowing the answer. Hey, they're pretty obscure, and I don't think saw much release. Plus, as a pre-dino fish, they aren't that well known, or well-represented by any company. Ever. Speaking of which--one is gone, one left.

There are 2 sellers right now--but after shipping, they would be about $20-$25 (plus, the mystery of not knowing what you'd get!). The reason they cost so much to post when in package is that the package weighs about 2 lbs.

OK thanks. What would the chances be seeing them at a flea market? Whenever pics can be posted will help me too.

Probably 0. They just aren't that common, and they are small. As for photos, not my best, but they'll do: They're weird looking. They really are: The small figure surprisingly captured what makes these early shark relatives so unique. Although I would have preferred a slightly more muted colour.
