I think they are still a little too large for that. Platyhystrix was only like 2 1/2 feet long right?

I've got a small one... And it is the same mold as the JPS1 dimetrodon! Heh, where did you get that one?

haha could those little guys possibly fill in for a 1:40 platyhystrix? Probably not--the proportions of the head and legs are all wrong.

Just imagine them standing back to back, shaking their legs and snipping their fingers to some cool, relaxing sound ;D And the Schleich in the middle is the frontman ;D

I'm pretty sure that the raptor is from Disney's Dinosaur.

The ELC Tyrannosaurus is the same mould as the Safari Great Dinos one, right? I have the ELC big Triceratops and it too looks the same as the Great Dinos equivalent. Both of the ELC dinos have the same scary great white shark eyes...brrrr.

Brought this fellow home from a flea market during my holiday. Unfourtunately the arms had broken off already, nevertheless I love it.

Oh, that's wonderful, Libra. Lovely 'Naive' charm. What a pity about the broken arms... I like that velociarptor, what ever he is ;D I like that Velociraptor too. It reminds me a little of the Colorata one (though it isn't). The design looks very Japanese at any rate... ETA: Oops, only just noticed Sbell's note about the raptor being from Disney's Dinosaur.

This is the place where it all began: A house in Grömitz at the Baltic Sea. Last week I had the opportunity to spend a day in Grömitz. What now hosts a fashion store was a bookstore 20 or so years ago. Here I bought my Invictas, each year one or two new ones. Nearly all of you being collectors, you can probably understand my tension walking along the beach to the bookstore, few money saved by letting icecream pass, expecting new dinosaurs each year. My theory has it that my career as a collector is always a try to reconstruct this 20 year old tension. And sometimes it works.

It's a shame Libra but there seem to be so few shops where you can actually walk in and choose a dinosaur figure from the shelf these days ................... sadly, old fashioned 'stuffed to the brim' toy shops where you could spend hours discovering things seem to be a thing of the distant past How I miss Gamleys in the 1970's .......................... a whole wall of shelves for Auroro dino models, big section of Britains toys and a huge table full of Dinky toys .......................

How true There is only one store that I know of here in Seattle that stock almost all of the brand. I miss store shopping, and I mean not TRU or Target either

There are a few (few!) around me that have wide selections of dinosaurs. They aren't "packed to the brim" though
