Hey could anybody hook me up with a good reliable website with decent prices to get replicas of dinosaur bones?
I'm giving a talk to highschool kids next month about dinosaurs and would like some casts to show. I'd like to have either a Triceratops horn or a Stegosaurus spike and either a Rex tooth or a Dromaeosaur claw.
Thanks.

Hi Griffin, I had quite a good experience with www.valleyanatomical.comthey're also one of the most renowned companies. And their prices are quite reasonable. If you don't need top quality they sometimes offer second quality or unpainted casts (but if I remember correctly, they sell these as lots).

When I click on online catalog, it's also crashed. Maybe they have server problems or do a major update. Let's hope so - it's one of the most important suppliers of fossil reproductions, even Richard Ellis mentioned them in "Sea Dragons" for their cast of Thalassomedon haningtoni. Would be a bad thing if they ceased to exist. I get a membership reminder every now and then, last time was on march 1st so maybe everything's fine.

The museum I work for produces fossil replicas from our collection. We've got a giant T. rex tooth with a nearly-complete root, and claws from T. rex and Allosaurus. Not a lot of other dinosaur stuff, but PM me if you're interested and I can get you some pictures and prices.

I have a cheap hollow plastic Deinonychus claw, well textured, if that is what you need. I also have an Albertosaurus forelimb claw.

Ah finally! Valley Anatomical is back up now yay!
Thanks guys for the offers anyway.
Its a comparative anatomy seminar/talk thing. I'm gonna (hopefully) use a steg spike and plate, rex tooth, allo claw, hadrosaur tooth battery and compare them with various modern animal bits like a lion claw, eagle talon, horse skull and bull horn.

Everything should be life size from the looks of it. They tell you the measurements.

Not with the Utahraptor claw, no measurements at all. But I already send them an e-mail asking about it
