Hi there - I just found this category. And as I am not only collecting dinosaur figures I'd like to share some photos of Safari's Wildlife Wonders figures - last week I received all 14 of them including the two 2010 releases, Asian Elephant and Bornean Orangutan. They're quite huge figures and most of them show exceptional detail. I'll post only one photo per figure here. More can be seen in my facebook album: www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2044943&id=1181385073&l=da2d29faadAfrican Bush Elephant. Reticulated Giraffe. Lion. Siberian Tiger. (Mountain) Zebra. (Western Lowland) Silverback Gorilla. Polar Bear. Black Jaguar. Hippopotamus. White Rhinoceros. White Tiger (sculpt is identical with Siberian Tiger). Giant Panda. Bornean Orangutan. Asian Elephant. I really love these large figures - most are around 30 cm length. I hope you enjoy the photos .

Isn't there also a large crocodile? I'm tempted by the hippo, but I wouldn't be able to put it anywhere It looks real...

Maybe you mean this croc: www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=30164117&l=c95c6b3f1f&id=1181385073If so, that's from the Incredible Creatures Series, but it's also a large figure so it would fit from its size. Yes, the Hippo is great. And the White Rhino is my favourite. I still haven't decided where to store them. At least I have ten new storages boxes waiting to be filled...

Yep, that would be the crocodile I'm talking about! It looks like it would fit nicely in that line. It would make a good enemy for that hippo ;D The paint job doesn't seem too bood though.

The salthingyer croc is good - nice and soft for child's play - but not as detailed as say, the Silverback Gorilla. Any favorites from the line, Bronto?
Edit: Okay, apparently salt-water is a bad word that needs to be censored. ;D

Edit: Okay, apparently salt-water is a bad word that needs to be censored. ;D Hi Cordylus, most of the Incredible Creatures have a rather sloppy paint job so the croc is no exception... And Dan, my favourite is the white rhino for its dynamic pose and because I simply like rhinos... I'd say both apes, the asian elephant, and the polar bear are perhaps the best detailed ones. The weakest may be the giraffe - it turns out smallish compared to its retired predecessor from the Vanishing Wild series and i see no reason why it is more expensive than all others except the two elephants. Oh, and foxilized, I really like both elephants but I'd prefer the asian one. Its skin is more detailed and they gve it a subtle brown wash - this animal looks dirty.

I've also started to collect wild animals - concentrating on Papo only. Always had a peculiar passion for them...

I have the Greater Kudu, Lioness, Cape Buffalo (oh, it's a boy ), and Humpback Whale. Not much, but I think I will buy more in the future.

I must say that their Nile Croc is absolutely amazing! and I have no words to describe my astonishment from the mother cheetah and her tiny little (yet detailed) cub...

Nice. Oddly enough I held the croc in my hands so many times in a local toy shop that eventually I became so familiar with it that I never felt the need to actually buy it... should change that in the near future.

Never felt the need to buy it?!! I see what you mean though ;D I wish I could see Papo figures in real life before I buy them.

My personal favourite in this collection is the Polar Bear - had to buy it, even though it's too big for me - gave it to a good friend's kid and was his hero for a day .

Where might I find these figures in Europe? I've tried looking for some in the UK to no avail so far. As you know, these things are seldom found here.
