Yes they are really cool little pieces. Not only that but accurate too. I would say that each one is pretty much the most accurate representation of its intended species you can get at this time. I have a small collection of them myself but they are all painted. Postsaurischian do you ever plan on painting yours? I know at the very least I will use a razor blade to trim off excess material that hangs off of the edges of the models.

Yes, I should trim them - but no, I won't paint them. 1. I'm a good guitar player but I can't paint 2. I love this beige / white mixture - it has a classical touch that reminds me of Auguste Rodin. If he had moulded Dinosaurs they may have looked just like this !

Wow, thanks for posting. On Sunday I ordered the Jobaria, Apatosaurus and Tyrannosaurus from urzeitshop.de and they may arrive today. Really exciting. Painting them appropriately might be tough, given the small size of the figures, though. BTW: Who's this Angie everyone's talking about and where can I order this Brachylophosaurus figure? Angie is a member of the forum. She is also an artist and started a beautiful collection of 3D models she is going to sell. She creates the models on her computer, sends them to Shapeways in Holland (short delivery time for us Germans ;D) and they burn her model with some laser technique into a real figure . Her shapeways shop is here: www.shapeways.com/shops/3dcreaturesShe starts with some Ornithopods, the next will be some Stegosaurs, Ceratopsians ..... aso. thats what i needed to know to start 3d modelling dinosaurs. ;D ¿anybody knows how shapeways works? ¿is it as easy as sending them the 3d model and then people can bui it online?

Now that I've done many tests I'm starting to get angry. Photobucket sucks!!! Imageshack also does and I'm not willing to try any other of these crappy sites. Going offline ..... having a beer ..... There is another option - create a website and host them yourself That's what I do. Sounds difficult, but you can get a free website pretty easily these days.

Wow, the krentz tylosaurus looks pretty bad! Bad as in bad, or bad as in good?

If you are referring to the teeth its because they have extra material hanging off from when it was cast. That can be cut away with a blade and look like it does on the site again.

Wow, the krentz tylosaurus looks pretty bad! The tylosaurus is awesome, actually. But you gotta drill a hole in its belly to display it right. I'll post some alternate of it pix one of these days.

You are lucky to have them all in the same cast color. Some of mine are white, grey, beige, blue or pink! So they will all be painted eventually.

Since I'm really happy with the new Apatosaurus I put some Sauropod pictures in the thread: Safari Brachiosaurus & Apatosaurus, I bought them in late 1988. Is this the first colour scheme Safari 2010 ..... Favorite Collection "soft models" ..... Kaiyodo Chuanjiesaurus ..... ..... and its skeleton Colorata Brachiosaurus ..... ..... Kaiyodo Apatosaurus. That is indeed the first colour scheme for those Carnegies. Interesting to contrast those very outdated Carnegie models with their splayed-toe elephantine look to more modern reconstructions.
Must say, that Kaiyodo Apatosaurus looks peculiar, especially the feet. How old is it? The Chuanjiesaurus and skeleton look fantastic though, would love to get my hands on those!
