This is my very first Dinosaur ..... When I was a little boy, the dentist I was forced to visit regularly used to have a big glass filled with Schleich mini animals and you were allowed to grab one after each session. I grabbed all the Dinos and have kept them since - would never give them away These are from the late 60s and maybe the very first Schleich Dinosaurs

Must say, that Kaiyodo Apatosaurus looks peculiar, especially the feet. How old is it? It is made for the museum shop of the National Science Museum of Tokyo and is still available there. I can't tell when it was produced originally.

Hey, where can I buy this collection? I notice most of the dinos you have are not sold in the US. I was trying to google it. Actually a lot of my Dinosaurs come from the U.S. ;D Also in this case - as mentioned they're made by David Krentz, famous American Dinosaur sculptor. You can order them through his own web-page, although some of us have been trying to order his 2 new models during the the last days and still have no response - he's probably quite busy with the new film project he is involved in Go here: www.davidkrentz.com/Krentz_Presentz_Sculpture/1_72.html

Time for some fun shots: Safari meets Cominica Chasing Rhamphorhynchus ..... San & Moro meet Caudipteryx ..... These characters are from "Mononoke Hime" (Princess Mononoke). I love Hayao Miyazaki's movies! Have you seen his last one, "Ponyo"? There are some nicely drawn ancient fish in it .

Nice comparison of the Favorite Styracosaurus skull and the X-Plus Styracosaurus. It actually shows that both are pretty much exactly the same scale and how accurately the X-Plus sculpt is done.

Wow that really looks like a these things called Talbuks from World of Warcraft. equiraptor.com/albums/equice/Talbuk.pngI saw Ponyo. It was decent mainly because of the cool Devonian fish. They even identified a good number of them! However i do prefer some of this other movies a lot more. Spirited Away is still my favorite.

WOW those Mononoke figures are SO BEAUTIFUL! I'd LOVE to have those, are they hard to find? They were produced by Cominica in 1997 and supervised by Miyazaki himself. They are very expensive on eBay (you can be lucky though) - about USD 150 to 190 . I ordered the San & Moro figure here: benippon.com/en/ghibli/mononoke/figuresIt's an Asian page but it worked perfectly! They take Paypal and the figure is USD 85! Delivery time to Germany was 10 days. Hope this helps .
