Frengi is an alternate name for Herrerasaurus. I guess the book figure is about 1:12, the box maybe 1:10? They can be obtained at clawmarktoys.com, in the dino tab (of course!). They are cool.

I couldn't move my books to make room for dinosaurs - as a student, how would people know of my right-on left-wing leanings otherwise? Wearing an obama tshirt.

Wow, that book does look amazing! Thanks Radman. I forgot about Clawmark Toys and I even have it bookmarked. It also seems from your pics that the Saurosuchus comes in two different shades? Radman's looks more of a tan with a dark grey wash and Helge's looks more like a tan with a brown wash. Hmmm? Also, it seems, according to what I can see in that book, that Frenguellisaurus and Herrerasaurus are two different dinos. The Frenguellisaurus looks to be much larger than the Herrerasaurus. Very cool stuff, guys! Thanks for sharing!!

I'm as excited by the dinosaur-bird link as the next guy, but that flying Edmontia is just carrying things too far.

It's Japanese I think he means that he can't understand what is written. I have the book as well--and other than the binomial names and chapter titles, it is all in Japanese. But the pictures are very pretty. Apparently, several years ago the plan was to write the Expo books in English as well as Japanese. I guess that hasn't happened. Or, the figures don't come with English books.

No different shades on these. I just had to take my picture in the middle of the night > flashlight! If you have a look on the page before in this thread, you see that mine is also much darker than it seems from the pic above.
