Hi all, Here are some dioramas that did not make the cut. There are a lot more, but I will have to post them after the contest since they were originally part of a series where my "official" entry came from. Hope you enjoy them! Apato, the "classic" picture ;D Apato going up a slope Stego looking for his herd Lost? Fishing for dinner Better get back to the herd... Eternal enemies.. that's it for now. Stay tuned for the sequel ;D And as always, no prehistoric toy figures were harmed during the filming (unlike last year! ;D )

Stego looking for his herd I like the Stego pic even though I don't like the figure too much .

Boki, the pterosaur picture is absolutely fantastic. I love it! The only thing that I've noticed that's a "flaw" about your dioramas is that you often times put what are larger dinosaurs on small outcroppings of rock that would have been impossible for the real animals to get on to. But I digress!

Steg is my favorite. Very nice lighting. The pterosaur is also really cool due to its originality.

I like the Muttaburrasaurus one the most, because those plants look just right for prehistoric foliage without being obviously small plants, like grass.
I'd post the rejected shots from my attempts, but I only had one idea for the contest, and so it'd be spoiling.

Wait a minute. Apatosaurus in water, what is this retro. If he falls in a deep section he won't be able to maintain an upright position and will drown. Apatosaurus on a rocky outcrop. Too dangerous and the animal is too big to climb. Also is that grass in the Jurassic. ;D J/K Nice job !!

Just wait for the other "rejects", they are cool, but posting them would totally give away my my entry piece for the contest, so will have to wait.

Love the 'retro' "Brontosaurus" in the swamp (hey, if you're gonna go retro, you gotta GO RETRO, right?)

The second picture looks like the King Kong remake from 2005.

My favorite's the pterosaur one. Love the pop of color on it and those plants against the darker backdrop.
How big is it, and where to get?
