Nice Anyway, here is a quick photo of my computer shelf with Papo and co., you can sort of have an idea how they look with some other figures ( WS pterosaurs, and CollectA Jobaria) ;D Sorry for the quality Did you mod your WS Rhamphorhyncus with LEDs? It's eyes are clearly glowing in that picture Actually, a lot of Safari dinos have shiny gold eyes--he may have just caught a reflection at the perfect angle.

Procon Psittacosaurus? Papo-ish? yes, no? edit: On second thought, it's probably not detailed enough. It's a cute figure, though.

I haven't seen it (yet) but I've heard it's great. So no, not very Papo-ish

It's not that Papo-ish, but still a great figure.

Dear Everyone,
Thanks everyone! You guys have been extremely helpful. I appreciate all the advice.
Yes, I have become obsessed with Papos. I have actually been away from the dinosaur toy scene ever since Dino Riders ceased production. My obsession with detail in my dinosaurs (and Papos in general) can probably be traced back to my Dino-Rider days.(I'm also a huge fan of Neca and Mcfarlane)... I was not impressed with Kenner's Jurassic Park figures (with the possible exception of a few Rexes) and felt that they squandered the license. I gave up all hope that I would ever see dinosaur sculpts on par with DR.
Fast forward to 2010... I was randomly browsing dinosaur toys (... I think it was on amazon.com?) and stumbled upon some Schleich dinosaurs...they were quite impressive and they kinda came out of the blue, for me...then I decided to check out the rest of Schleich line...they were hideous!....I then stumbled upon some WS/Carnegies as I was browsing....they were marvelous!...and then I decided to continue checking out the WS/Carnegie line...they were also hideous!....I was confused...(later I came to the realization that both lines were continually updating their figures through the years)...I kept googling up on the latest dinosaur toys...I found Papos...They were perfect! They were BETTER than DRs! (except that they were not really articulated...but that don't matter....I'm not a kid anymore, lol)
Well, anyways, I think I figured out how to sort my current and future collection...I think I will place the Papos and the select Schleichs (e.g Brachio, Apato, Saichania, Para, Quetz v.1?) together...they seem to share similar color schemes...
I will probably dedicate a separate shelf for select WS (e.g Postosuchus, Ichthyosaurus w/ ammonite, Tylosaurus, Liopleurodon, Dilophosaurus, Pterosaurs minus Pteranodons, Beipiaosaurus, Nigersaurus, Dunkleosteus, Coelacanth, Triceratops etc)...WS are more colorful than the Papos/Schleich...
Lastly, I might dedicate a third shelf or site for display of prehistoric mammals from various lines (WS/Schleich/Papos)...but I'm not 100% sure...
;D

Most of the Safari ones have already been discontinued, but can still be found (the Arsinoitherium has been gone a while, for example, and is already starting to command a somewhat higher price).

That's a shame! I guess I arrived a few years late to the scene. The Arsinoitherium is a real gem. I didn't realize that it was rare. IMO, the WS prehistoric mammals are light years ahead of their Papo counterparts (e.g Mammoth, and Steppe Mammoth)in terms of sculpt and overall look. I like the WS glyptodon, Doedicurus. It's cute! Is it rare?

Did anybody mention the GIGA of Bullyland?? thedinosaurpark.com/images/B614723.jpgI mean, this is without a doubt THE MOST PAPOISH figure ever, not being Papo. --It even has articulate jaws, a direct copy of Papo for sure.

hmm...Giga looks good and all, but I don't like the teeth (too cartoony) and the eyes (look painted on)...nice sculpt, though
