Thanks for the positive comments. the acrocanthosaurus one and the perminan scene are awesome!! so, you couldn't resist temptation? (is that the wwd liopleurodon)? It's not the WwD but a similar knock-off Liop made by TS Toys, an obscure Chinese company.

You should do more dioramas. I'd like to know what methods you use to show animals swimming under the water or flying in the sky?

Unfortunately I don't have enough time to do more dios I have a few oldies, I will post them if you like. As for the water effects, I love to experiment. Believe me, I have tried many things. In this case, I took two grainy B/W pictures of the Liop and the Ophthalmo. I'm holding the Liop so it appears to be swimming. After that, I resized, cut and pasted the Ophthalmo. Then I added a fake shadow and I coloured the pic.

Sure I'm ready to see more! You really made a lot of effort to get a good picture.

Ornithosuchus crushing a Proganochelys The water is actually a plastic bag. I blurred it just a little bit. Kronosaurus & Cearadactylus: 2 Baryonyx fishing A T-Rex attacking a pair of Euplocephalus Liopleurodon hunting Mammoth & Saber-Toothed cats The midnight fisher. A Spinosaurus about to take a dive. A Dunkleosteus has caught a careless Cladoselache.

The Kronosaurus & Cearadactylus pic is my favourite. Reminds me of the National Geographic cover with Dakosaurus.
You should write a tutorial about your methods, unless they're a secret.

^^^ Yeah, it reminded me of that too ;D The effects aren't secret. I just play around with Photoshop. I guess I could write a tutorial for some but others are old and I can't even remember what I used exactly Besides, I had a full version of Photoshop 6 back then, now I have a 'light' version. New dio, several Cretaceous cephalopods: Explanation: I actually took seven different pics, (six of the animals, one of the background) and put them together. For the background I used a slab of volcanic rock. You have to cut them very carefully, otherwise it will look terrible. It should look a lot better with a decent camera (the Polyptychoceras have an awful whiteness I couldn't remove). A friend of mine told me it wasn't convincing, but I couldn't do better. I used an almost transparent dark blue layer (the opacity of the colour is %5 if I recall correctly, you can modulate it with Photoshop and get different results)

New one: Early Devonian estuary. You can see a big Pterygotus closing in on a Pteraspis. You can see two Hemicyclaspis watching the show.

Great dios! Are the sea scorpion and friends Kaiyodo/Dinomania figures? I like the hunting liopleurodon, did you enhance his eyes? What's next? Can you do a triassic? That would be cool!

Hey Boki, The Pterygotus, Pteraspis and Hemicyclaspis are indeed Kaiyodos. You can read my review of the Pterygotus on the blog I'm glad you liked the hunting Liop. Curiously enough, I didn't enhance the eyes (or the teeth), it was a funny effect of the camera I don't know what I will do next. I will try to do one located in the Triassic ;D
