Since there probably won't ever be a figure of this, I went and made one. This has a bulked up cheetah body with hyena head and front legs a bit longer, all done with epoxy putty. Head's probably a bit too robust maybe but I'm not sure. Any opinions?

Wow!! thats a great model Just a few questions .How big is it, what company makes the cheetah and the hyena, and did you make a small base for it or is it glued to the diorama?

Thanks for the compliment. ;D It measures 4,25in (10.79cm) in length nose to rump and 5.5in (13.87cm) nose to tip of tail by 2.5in (6.35cm) in height. The scale works out to be 1/15 to 1/12 depending on species. The cheetah was by Wild Republic (the Safari was out of stock) and the hyena is Safari. There are pins in the left legs (look on the bottom of the left rear leg) and it is pushed into the foam base.

Seriously, I am a huge hyaena fan, I have almost every hyaena figure I can find, and if you have no need to keep it then I will find it a home. ;D Alternatively, I will get you the necessary pieces to recreate the figure again.

Yah, we can make some kind of deal. I'd rather make a new one since there are some things that I'd like to improve on. ;D I don't know which cheetah is better to work with, the Wild Republic or the Safari. I haven't been able to compare the two. But, the Safari hyena head is the one to use. By the way I made this because of the other thread on Florida Pliocene animals.

How much? Will you accept trades? Well, Sean is supposed to get one and if copper is interested, he's next. I only ordered figures for two of these so I will have get some more if you want one. Trade would be fine. The donor animals are around $10USD and there is labour cost. Just depends on what you want to trade.
