My first batch of orders from the second wave of Procons just arrived, and it's a decidedly mixed bag. The Deluxe 1:40 was larger than I anticipated, and very well done, except for its snout, and the regular pachyrhinosaurus came out much better than it did in the catalogue photographs, thankfully. However, the paint on the teeth and sail of the rebbachisaurus was very crudely applied, and even a two year old with a crayon could have done a better job with the 'paint' on the tail spikes of the shunosaurus. Moreover, the left orbit of the shunosaur is not aligned with the right orbit, and there are more bumps and detail on one side of the head than the other. Dreadful.

Now I'm hesitating to get the rest of the series (lexovisaurus, cryolophosaurus, etc.) that I was considering

Now I'm hesitating to get the rest of the series (lexovisaurus, cryolophosaurus, etc.) that I was considering My main consideration is that no one has done most of these before. So I am willing to forgive some things for the sake of diversity.

So how is the Liopleurodon, if you got one?

I didn't get the liopleurodon yet. I was waiting for a review of the figure from the resident plesiosaurologist first

Are there any pictures of the procon 1:40s (other than the promotional shots by the company itself)?
