That guy's art is very Marshall-esque - I like it.

*Slaps Forehead* I know Forest Rogers' work. I never realised she sculpted the Carnegie dinosaurs. For shame.

We will all get to see them in due time. ;D I wonder,is the Edmontosaurus (Wild Safari) going to be the around 30 foot long E. annectens like the one on display at the Smithsonian (formally known as Anatosaurus) or the 40 foot E. regalis? (I would like to see either one) ;D

Miragaia !!
WS "almost" had a solid family of Stegosauridae in their collection. The Miragaia should be stunning based on what I'm hearing on the boards, and their Stegosaurus is also well done. However, why did WS botch up the Kentrosaurus' head?? ( they should have just used their signature "gold eyes"...the head sculpt looks like a demented claymation product). Too bad I never picked up the DR Kentrosaurus (perhaps the best Kentrosaurus ever made...it is more or less perfect except for the unsightly tail seams)...
Is it just me or is there an uncanny semblance between the Papo Stegosaurus and the WS Stegosaurus ( minus the paint job)?? ...similar pose, same facial expression? yes, no?

Scale is irrelevant if you're a collector. Just 'mix and match' those displays. I have every scale from 1:70 (Japanese mini-dinos) to 1:30. That WS Edmontosaurus can easily represent the largest of the species next to the Colorata figures, for example. Just put the Miaragia and Carnotaurus in with the 1:35 scale dinosaurs and no problem!
I can't wait for this next year's releases! It sounds like Safari and WS have both mined diamonds!

Is there a specific ratio between how many dinosaurs can be released across the Safari brands per year? btw, why do trees cost so much?

There are already Carnegie dinos announced--the Miragaia and new Carnotarus. They are in the list at the top. And WS trees aren't too bad--the existing pine tree is about $10, and the new ones are going to be roughly the same size, although there is more to them. You're probably thinking of the Schleich and CollectA trees, some of which are awesome, but yes, cost anywhere from $25 to $50.

Oops, my bad, for some reason or another, I assumed that they were all WS... ...And you're right, I was actually thinking of the trees by Schleich. They are quite awesome, but assuming that I've had some cash-on-hand and the option to spend $25-40 on Scheich's Brachiosaurus, or some Schleich trees, the answer is painfully obvious.
