Hey, could anybody confirm about the 2 horns (instead of 1) on the head of the Procon Deluxe? Seems to have the same mistake as the Papo spinosaurus (and the jp3 design, by extention)
And the green smaller Procon, does it have 2 too or just 1?

The large one has two little horns (at least papo gave it CRESTS. procon gave it HORNS!). The little one I don't think has any head ornamentation.

The large one they gave two exaggerated eyebrow crest (not horns). However, there is also a small, single crest on the top of the head (you can see it in the photo, between the smaller crest), just not a as big. The small one only has one. Here is a better pics of the large one: And the small one: This little guy is not very photogenic ;D It looks better in person than in any pictures I have seen ;D and here is the Toyway one:

Those look like little round horn projections to me. I didn't even notice the tiny one in the middle! The little one still doesn't look like it has a crest, but rather a bump.

Oh man! So, are you telling me the Deluxe has 5 crests on the head? Two eyebrow crest... ok. Two more little crests, in the same place where many bayonyx-like figures commite the same mistake of 2 crests instead of one (read Papo, Schleich, etc)... oook.... And then... One more crest, the main (and unique) crest that should exist... It's also there! Why the hell? Instead of less crests, or double crests, they put EVERY POSSIBLE crest! They could have add one at the end of the skull, like a nose-horn. Why not, lol Hmmm that figure is just TOO BIZARRE....... not sure about it at all........... but then, how many options do we have for a good 2-legged bary?

The CollecA Baryonyx (Suchomimus??) really had a bizarre head... It included no less than FIVE "horns" on it, 4 of them over the eyes and then a fifth one on the forehead. First I thought this crazy number of "horns" was a JP3 Spinosaurus "homage", same as many other figures has done, transforming the unique true horn of the forehead into 2 smaller ones above each eye... But it doesn't seem so, because this figure included the unique horn. It seems that, besides that accurate one, the Collecta sculptores decided that it wasn't enough and that it needed FOUR bloody more! How was that? Then I found a RAUL MARTIN painting wich depicted a Baryonyx with a head wich looks a little similar to the figure (same "skeletal" look) I don't know if the CollectA really based their figure on this paleoart, because the figure doesn't look really that similar to it... and the head on the painting doesn't really have 5 horns but... hey, HOW MANY 5 HORNED BARYONYX have you ever seen? (cookie with chocolate for the geek who brings me paleoart of a true 5 horned Baryonyx!! ) (btw, as a trivial note: that Raul Martin painting was a swine copy of a Greg Paul sketch)

Don't know if those are really horns in front of the eyes, though. Almost.

The luis rey varyonyx is one of my favorite renditions, actually (despite the pronated arms), and I actually like the pelican look he gives to his spinosaurs, I think it makes them bird-like.

I was going to say the Dinoking mini is pretty good - but as it turns out, it isn't. Their Suchomimus, however, is very nice (pronated hands aside), and after all there are many who consider them essentially the same genus. So why they had to go and do a new Baryonyx mold and give it a badly broken leg for stability... *grumble* Anyway, the Suchi has one central crest and no weird hornlets, as well as a loooooong head; the Bary OTOH has no head ornaments at all and a much shorter face.
