Hello all
Well kinda odd I didn't see this part of the forum yet, man I have alot of stories to tell since my grandfather and I studied prehistoric life over the generations I took over his work and lived it oon, the oldest bookwork I have is from 1952, 1976 and 1981 the books of the 50's are fantastic, they are dutch how ever, the arts used in the the theories marvellous
Although after making tons of photo's of them books, I do plan to explain them in detail, but so far I have not found where to do this, so many suba fora you see.
the oldest fossil I found was from the Charrante District in South France which was particles and life forms from an inland sea, I foudn this 3meters deep in a river, it felt rather odd and spiker so I dug it out and took it to the surface and I knew that I found something very old, took it to the International Musion of History in Arnhem and yes it was 365 million years old and I got 500 guilders of half of my find which was rather amazing they wanted the other half I said no , I do want to keep the nicest part for myself.
And I used it as decoration for the flying reptiles in my Dino-Riders showcase.
In 1989 I also hit the Bunbury Mail, from western Australia by have the largest known Dinosaur collection in the country, which consisted of 386 pieces, I had Bjust bought Brontosaurus for 129 Australian Dollars and I still have himk 100% complete haha, this took me 22 weeks to save up and yes it was aburden indeed but amjor mile pole was reached, my Karrate Shihan Alan Burdett made the appointment with the Bunbury mail but of course i had no idea rofl.
Also I have made a picture of this article and I will gladly post it later on.
Ted Neos showed me this place I learned to know him via ebay and is Dino-riders.com website there we athered more collectors but it was slow going.
And this palce was like woah! it's populated just perfect. ;D
As for the Australia part I lived there from December 15 1979 til December 17 1990, grew up there, but Iwas born in Lekkerkerk in 1976, so yeah an Aussie Dutch bloke then haha, ah well so that kinda describes my eng and the Dino fever, I was born with it my first was a Dimetrodon which I received from my parents when iwas born and I still have this thing and it's 33 years old and December 8 it will turn 34 so will I haha!
Anyways Thanks for the idea of this palce it's something us Evolution and Dino freaks needed, it's always great to have aplace to leave a nice convo behind and I am very willing to learn more here , more about evulution new finds new theories you name it.
