Holy crap - these are incredible! If you don't mind me asking - do you prime the figures before you paint them? And what brand of paints are you using? If they're acrylic, they really pop! ~ Michael

*thud* That raptor.... absolutely gorgeous! I take it the thud was your jaw hitting the floor? Great work, man.

If they're acrylic, they really pop! ~ Michael thanks! I usually just give the figure one solid color layer before starting to paint the different color shades. The acrylic paints i use are mixed brands. And top of the paints i use matt varnish for the body and gloss varnish to some details.

You could make a living off painting & reselling these! I especially like the WWD inspired raptor color scheme!

Awesome, Copper! You're getting great results that way - very, very talented. Thanks for sharing your work here. Maybe it'll inspire me to get off my but and paint one of these days! ;D

Not bad at all considering the quality and the labor involved. I will think about it

Oh what a lovely one! I guess Rob really love that paint design... just don't put it side-by-side with the Styraco I did ;D It would make the Stryraco feel insecure ;D Okay, that settles it, I will need to have you do a custom for me! Now the hard part, which figure? Will PM you
