Woahhh cool. Is the blue on the top supposed to be the actual animal's color or is it supposed to look like its under water?

I was thinking of getting a kit and maybe have you paint it up like your Pachyrhinos...of course I haven't checked shipping or anything out yet..just a thought I had.

Dude, your stuff is just awesome! Care to share your trade secrets? Not talking the nuances that make you great, just the basics, like how you prime your pieces, what kind of paint you use. Your website says you use acrylics, so are those just the kind you can buy cheaply at department stores, or do you spring for high end art-store varieties? Do you use brushes for your paint work and varnishes? Have you summarized this somewhere already?
I will just have to commission a painting from you...you're just too talented.
Also, would you consider doing a short, simple tutorial by taking photos of a job you do at stages to show your work? It's fun to see your pieces and realize that even some of the uninspiring stuff sitting on most of our shelves could be exciting if painted properly!

Awesome. And I respect your decision to keep trade secrets. I just know a lot of people really are amazed at your stuff and would like to know a bit more about how you do it, and see the steps a bit more clearly (again, maybe just speaking for myself though). I think your eye for colors and painting skills will still keep you a couple steps ahead of many of us, so little risk that you will be letting the genie out of the bottle, I think. Thanks!
