Was the stego originally the pre-assembled pre-painted version?

Was the stego originally the pre-assembled pre-painted version? ...... all i know that when the stego arrived, it was dark brown with lighter brown stripes and the paint was sticky.. Not only was it brown, dark petrol green and sticky, also did it have the worst paint scheme as normally used for tanks or airplanes . Now it's been turned into the most beautiful thing imaginable . I'm still not sure if there does exist a pre-assembled pre-painted version of the Stego. I doubt it, but would be pleased if someone proves me wrong. I bought it (ab)used from an English seller who mispainted it and nailed it to a piece of wood - I think the Stego is very happy to be mine now ;D.

I recall there was a member on the forum who had one that was already assembled and painted. Probably boki ;D But I know I have seen them on ebay unassembled and unpainted. Really expensive though.

The "Kaiyodo Dinoland man" in this forum is blackdanter and even he doesn't show the Stego in his Vinyl figures thread. But again, Boki or whoever has a prebuilt, prepainted version of the 1:20 Stegosaurus, please show a pic ! ....... of course it can't be as beautiful as copper's ;D, but I'm still curious.

my own figure rhamphorhynchus (wild safari, safari ltd) repainted and modified i read that it's suggested that the species may have been nocturnal; similiar to modern nocturnal seabirds, so i took the colors for the rhamphorhynchus from a nocturnal seagull.

All of these are fantastic! The Rhamphorynchus is particularly amazing, I didn't even realize it was the Safari figure when I first saw it! The color scheme looks like either a Lava Gull or a Swallow-tailed Gull, very nice!
