My dad is an amateur wildlife photographer and after some arm twisting I recently convinced him to set up a website to showcase his work. He launched the Bugsnapz blog very recently. It is still under construction and he'll be adding plenty more content with time, but I just wanted to cheekily plug it here bugsnapz.blogspot.com/

Great shots. My uncle is in the same line of work; one of his butterfly photos was used for a state license plate.

Great shots. My uncle is in the same line of work; one of his butterfly photos was used for a state license plate. My dad has never sold any of his photographs, it's a pure hobby for him. He was even reluctant to create the blog. But I think they're really good in any case!

For anyone interested, there are plenty more photos added to the Bugsnapz blog recently bugsnapz.blogspot.com/Wow, a very nice hopper, looks like a larva of Romalea guttata (aka R. microptera), the Eastern Lubber Grasshopper. Does your father live in the U.S. then?
