Received some christmas retro goods A bunch of MARX figures. Wow, these are huge! And great looking! Love the pulished and marbled material: Pot-belly-Rex, smilodon, kronosaurus, styracosaurus, allosaurus, pteranodon and brontosaurus (this last is awesome). Also some Invictas (triceratops, stegosaurus, megalosaurus). Kleinwelka Iguanodon (I think is exactly the same you got, Boki). I already had one, but this new one looks made on a heavier and more pulished material. The old one is more detailed though. Have different inscriptions in the belly, too. If there's any hardcore Kleinwelka collector around, I would like to ask him if he is able to indentify each version! Also a beautiful Starlux stegosaurus (love him, some Starlux are ugly like my face while eating lemon, but this figure is great, elegant and very well sculpted and painted). Finally, a gree Brontosaurus plastic bank, made by Sinclair Oil Company on the 50's or 60's. Pretty cool item, little piece of history there. I am kind of happy.

I'm jealous of that marx Kronosaurus! I've been meaning to get one, but the ones I see on ebay are all in lots of a ton of figures and go for way more than I'm willing to pay...

There are 2 lots of Marx figures on auction right now that are about $20 each. Each lot includes like 10 figures or so. It's a very good offer and I think it included the krono. Living on USA I think you should give that a chance, as the shipping cost to Spain was huge but I think it will be more than reasonable for Usa buyers.
Anyway, I personally know the guy who sold me the krono I got and he's an excellent guy, I can ask him if he has some more kronos and surely he will sell it to you for a very low price.
Tell me and I will ask him.

That's the thing- I'm not after any other marxes (for retro figures I have enough invictas), and I don't want to buy a lot with only one figure in there that I want...

Are you going to use that Dino soap? ;D Haha, no, definitely not, I'm sure it's still good though, it smells strongly of lye. @ Cordy--if you're willing to pay 30 bucks you can get the Krono here www.prehistorictimes.com/dinostore.htmlI have one, I don't think its worth that much though.

Wow Camara, superb stuff! Do you have any higher-res photos somewhere, perhaps in your customs thread?

Safari "Alligators Alive" toob I have no use for the keeper or the softshell turtle, but the rest are really nice! Sculpting quality has noticeably gone up when compared to the early toobs.

I think they're meant to serve as prey items.
What about the gator floating at the water's surface? An interesting idea, but it looked a little weird when I saw the stock photo.
