Got all of the JP 2009 line today (via post, no TRUs in Holland) We have Toys R Us in the UK but they don't sell them! Also: the Doctor should visit prehistoric Earth now and then. It would make Primeval completely redundant. Up yours, ITV!

They should have JP 2009 in UK TRU's, they have them in Germany and France too, and some Brits on jptoys got them without having to buy them online. Maybe your TRU has just run out?
Primeval didn't get any worse in Series 3 IMO, it was on the same level as the earlier series: poorly written, poorly acted out and with blatant CG FX, but for some reason still very entertaining. The only thing bothering me in Series 3 was the number of main characters leaving/dying. Anyway, Series 4 might do better once it gets going. And the Primeval action figures are just f**king awesome!

They're priced the same everywhere: 50 pounds in the UK, 50 euro in other European countries, and 50 dollars in the USA (up until last week, when prices were lowered by 25% there). Really odd.

Nice the fishy looks really good. Better than the stock photo. I never noticed how the fins are a different color.

Yeah, it really is fantastic, I think it's better than the liopleurodon (although I like the liopleurodon more, because I'm a sucker for large carnivores!).

Um.. This coelacanth is anything but dead No I mean the figure looks like a dead fish. I just lost two of my african cichlids last night and ironicly they look like this figure.

Well that's what living coelacanths looks like, so I guess the real ones look dead all the time too

Sooooooo many new stuff that arrived the last week, but the real gem is a unpainted Bullyland Deinotherium! Yes! It was a VERY generous gift from a friend and I'm really touched by the gesture. Also in the bag are various deep sea fish and trilobites from Franchesca, the Diatryma and some figures from Sbell ( I already forgot the company name!). When time allows, I will try and post pictures.

Although it is a silly little figure--I finally managed to find a Go Diego Nyctosaurus (in a lot of others, but whatever). Actually, I contacted a seller whose big lot didn't sell--they made a smaller lot for me with the figures I'd requested, and I bought that. I guess I make my own luck.

I expected a cartoon-ish Nyctosaurus when I Googled it, instead I found some weird bot-cyborg thing.

Of course you never do that, I've heard of people who try to buy prototype jurassic park toys by doing that and they get in trouble quite a bit. And.. For an acquisition I got the newest prehistoric times magazine as a valentines' day present. $7.25 from the local barnes and noble...
