Well, I got my second group of 2010 figures today! Got the pair of new Bully figures, the Giga and Iguandon. I like both figures, and I am impressed with the movable jaws on the Giga. It is also a lot bigger than I expected! The Iguanodon is cool looking.
Then I got the new pair from Papo, the Ovi and Pachyrhino. Both figures are wonderful IMHO, but they both don't have the same level of details that we have come to expect from Papo figures. It just seems like the detailing are not as impressive as previous figures. Still, both are nice and really good candidate for repaint ;D

But who ever shipped them didn't put the coelacanth in a bag of water so I immediately try ed to revive it by throwing it in my fish tank. Sadly it perished and I did the only reasonable thing to do I gave it a proper fish burial. Oh no! Judging from the gourami on the photo you have put the coelacanth in freshwater Seems that this truly sad loss was inevitable... ;D Posted by Libraraptor on Mar 14, 2010, 9:06pm Haha, Godzillasaurus, funny story with the coelacanth! I always find it a little strange when someone introduces new acquisitions to his collection...But I must admit: I DO THIS, TOO Posted by crazycrowman on Mar 14, 2010, 9:24pm Funny photo series, and a very cool Giant Gourami, Godzillasaurus! LOL I dont have a salt water tank I did what I could to save the celocanth but alas. Thanks for the comments on "Marla" the great white beast of my 180 gallon tank. she is about 20 inchs and I have had her since 2001. I plan to customize the apatosaurs since there is a lack of decent figures latley. (the safari one coming out looks amazing but it is not 1:40th scale sobb.

Some recent Acquisitions: Many thanks to Libraraptor (sorry for the delay in posting - work has become a bit of an obsession lately) for the wonderful Linde figures. I had the Rhamp from a previous buy (well before joining the forum) but moved it to be with the other three that I got from Libraraptor. The Linde have a wonderful retro feel that goes well with the Invicta. My only thought is that both sets are so out of proportion with each other that I may move the Linde to be besde my ROM or Marx figures - more in scale. My little collection of Japanese figures (I've added a few here and there since the last photo. Again, many thanks to Libraraptor for the wonderful Linde figures - now I have to get the other 4 for a complete collection

Nice, at least the others will be easier to get when compared to that pterosaur! It's the only Linde figure I don't have Oh, I just love your table display, very clever

Just take a look at these Kindertoyz - dinosaurs i bought today! They came in a set of two for each species: A small and a big one. Highly Bullyland - inspired and pretty cool! Hi Libraraptor and thanks for sending the Kindertoyz figures which arrived this morning . At least the Tyrannosaurus is definitely not identical with the Bullyland MuseumLine figure. The Kindertoyz is approx. 180 mm long in direct line, much smaller than the Bullyland which is approx. 320 mm in direct line. Which raises the question: Why would they do an almost exact (only smaller) copy? I will post a photo for size comparison later.

This is what I meant. Kindertoyz Tyrannosaurus in the foreground, Bullyland MuseumLine Tyrannosaurus in the background (unfortunately a pretty much played-with one). Strange, isn't it?

Spotted three Oviraptors in one of my regular Papostores. Didn't buy any of them because I already have one and these were twice as expensive (13 euro)...
Okay, so this is a non-acquisition, but at least you guys know Oviraptors should now be available in most Papostores.

Just be glad you don't live over here, where you can ONLY buy Schleich in the vast majority of stores. And when other brands are available, they're never Safari. GAH I say.

Yeah, I have to buy everything online, occasionally from the States! Rare is the pleasure of walking out of a shop clutching a dinosaur for poor little me.

It's been awhile since I got anything dinosaur related... My sister was kind enough to get the books for me and even found an autographed William Stout book!

Looks lovely. I wish I could afford to buy each one of their nice models! I actually wonder - could sideshow produce a postosuchus vs. coelophysis scene?! It seems as though as long as a dinosaur is included in the piece it's ok - and I bet a postosuchus might actually sell very well! If they go ahead and produce a spinosaurus, baryonyx, and suchomimus I'm going to go bankrupt Especially if hot toys produces a super-poseable dinosaur.
