I bought the wild safari mosasaurus and kentrosaurus today, along with the prehistoric sea life toob.
Pterosaurs aren't really my thing, so I can hold off on the ramphorhynchus for a while until it shows up in a store near me!

The Rhamphorynchus has an inaccurate wing membrane. The WS Kentrosaurus looks pretty cool.

Woohoo! Today two more Safaris showed up: the feathered and carnivorous dinos toobs. These little guys are seriously cool - so much more accurate and detailed than the ones from the basic dino toob.

The Rhamphorynchus has an inaccurate wing membrane. The WS Kentrosaurus looks pretty cool. The wing membrane isn't inaccurate as far as we know. I assume you're talking about the odd fact that the wing membrane doesn't connect to the back limbs, right?

Yeah I'm pretty sure there's no proof as to where exactly the wing membrane would have attached exactly on a rhamph. WS has been consistantly really on top of their accuracy I think if there was conclusive proof it being a certain way, it would have reflected in their figure.

For those wondering why the wing membranes are positioned as they are in the Wild Safari Rhamphorhynchus model, here is a specimen you may find of interest: Whether the membranes are attatched at the top of the leg or at the base of the tail as suggesteg G.S. Paul (and shown in the Safari Ltd. model) is anyone's guess though.

It looks like the wings in that ramphorhynchus fossil look like they attach to the main body.
Now, a bigger flaw that everybody doesn't seem to care about is the lack of a pteroid bone on almost all toy pterosaurs (except the ones by bullyland).

That is also a big problem with pterosaur figures.

Got a Schleich Macrauchenia at a flea market. Usually I'm not fond of Schleich, but their prehistoric mammals are okay.

A plush mini Wild Republic Mammoth and a few buck dinosaurs. How can you tell they are male dinosaurs? Are they anatomically correct? ;D
