What do you mean fix the arms? When attached would they be in an scientifically inaccurate pose with the wrists? I have assembled and painted a number of warhammer pewter figures but I've never actually tried to manipulate the pewter itself.

Superglue works just fine, but you may have to file down the ends first.

I got a Papo Allo! *happy dances around the room* What a stunner! The place I found him had the Spino too, but sadly I didn't have enough money. I also had the opportunity to drop by the Oslo museum of natural history, which has a nice (though smallish) dino exhibit, and in the gift shop I came across the Safari Yangchuanosaurus, of all things. I think I bought him mostly because I was so excited to even find a Safari, much less such an unusual one, but it's actually a pretty nice little model once you get past the unflattering paintjob.

The tails just had to be manipulated as you can see in the first pic.

I nabbed a Papo Stegosaurus for a quarter at a grage sale as well as a few Safaris and oddly enough a Procon figure. I also found some sort of weird Sea Monster that looks like it might be one of the newer Playmobil figures.

Received Carnotaurus ..... ..... and a sweet Leaellynasaura from Australia: This is a cool albeit chunky Carntaurus-I love it, personally. As far as bending the tin alloy, you can bend it once quite carefully, especially if you soak it hot water for a few minutes; you may even be able to bend it back again if you don't like your work. The point is, there are a limited number of bends before the metal stresses and breaks. Good luck! Slimy carno!

Those are some awesome garage sale finds!!! The only Dinosaur items that I ever find at garage sales are the ones from McDonald's happy meals. I nabbed a Papo Stegosaurus for a quarter at a grage sale as well as a few Safaris and oddly enough a Procon figure. I also found some sort of weird Sea Monster that looks like it might be one of the newer Playmobil figures.

Re: Garage Sale Finds
Yeah, usually it's Imaginext and Chinasaurs, but sometimes I get lucky - don't forget to ask the people if they have any, like I said they will often go in the house and get them for you. Most of the time you will hear "We have them, but the kids still play with them." Don't be discouraged - keep asking! Especially if you are in an area near a museum that sold Battat. :-)

I wish we had garage sales (or yard sales) in the Netherlands... we have to make do with the occasional flea market.
