*waves excitedly* I'm back from vacation, and boy did I get some shopping done... First I spent one rainy day in Oslo, where I found my favorite shop had started carrying Safaris - and nice ones too, so the Beipiaosaurus and Microraptor came home with me. After that I spent three days in Stockholm, and managed to find the Nat. Hist. museum (with a little difficulty, I have absolutely no sense of direction). The museum is very nice, and its shop is very hard to get out of without spending absurd amounts of money. In the end I picked up one prehistoric mammals toob, replica fossils toob, Carnegie Dilong and Dilophosaurus, and two books: one nicely illustrated and reasonably current dino encyclopedia in Swedish, and this one. But wait, that's not all! Did you know there's a series 2 of the Dino King minis? I didn't, so when I found them on sale I went slightly crazy and picked up several packs. Hey, it has a slightly fuzzy Velociraptor and two species of allosaurs, who could ask for more? (Oh, and there's a plesiosaur too - anyone want one, lmk, I got three!)

What is is the full set of the Dino Kings 2 set? Do you have a list from the package. Side note--I am going to guess that at least one stegosaur is in this set--Series 1 didn't have a single one!

I may be interested in one of those packs... ;D

Today I visitited a bit peculiar but nice museum & 'dinosaurgarden' in the Netherlands, the 'Oertijdmuseum', and what did I find: the complete set of PV amphibians :-)!!
Also got some Procons, I especially like the psittacosaurus, it's cute. Unfortunately the Jobaria and Deluxe Velociraptor weren't there... really would like to stumble upon those two!
It's quite hard to find good dinosaur figures in shops in the Netherlands. And that's a shame, because I rrrrreally like to buy from a real shop.

Side note--I am going to guess that at least one stegosaur is in this set--Series 1 didn't have a single one! Yup, there is a Stego - bright purple, these guys aren't exactly known for their subdued and realistic color schemes! ;D There's also for some reason yet another Ankylosaur... The series 2 models are: *Allosaurus *Altirhinus *Ampelosaurus *Baryonyx Deinonychus *Deltadromeus *Fukuisaurus *Futabasaurus (the plesiosaur) *Mapusaurus Pachycephalosaurus *Megaraptor Megalosaurus *Pentaceratops Pteranodon *Saurophaganax *Seismosaurus *another Acrocanthosaurus, similar to the series 1 but smaller Supersaurus Therezinosaurus *Velociraptor and the final four were covered by a label, but it looks like they are a black Tyrannosaurus, possibly a repaint (I don't have either #1 or #2, and the photo isn't much help) *Iguanodon *Stegosaurus and Pawpawsaurus These models are slightly smaller than series 1, and IMO they're not as well sculpted - the theropods at least have poorly defined, lumpy feet. Oh, and I don't have any complete packs for sale, just singles. (Generally I pick up a pack if it contains at least one model I'm interested in.) Sales thread coming up!

WTF, you found those in my own country of all places?! d**n, I really need to go there... did they have any PV Amphibians left (or the PV marine reptiles set for that matter)? How much did it cost you? I had a good day myself though. Visited the Brussels Museum of Natural History for the Second European JP Toys Meeting (which was great fun by itself), and scored these: -Bernissart Iguanodon commemorative coin -Kinto Favorites Apatosaurus -Kinto Favorites Pachycephalosaurus -Safari Dino Discoveries Oviraptor on nest -Carnegie Maisaura with nest -Carnegie Carnotaurus -Carnegie Plateosaurus -Carnegie Corythosaurus -Safari Prehistoric Life Arsinoitherium -Bullyland Fossils Belemnite -Bullyland Fossils Ammonite -Procon Pteranodon -Procon Iguanodon -Procon Velociraptor -Procon Lexovisaurus -Procon Tylosaurus -Procon Tenontosaurus -Procon Sarcosuchus -Procon Brachiosaurus -Procon Cryolophosaurus And added two new JPS2 collector´s cards to my collection as well. Nice day indeed!

I went shopping yesterday in my local Toysmyths. Didn't pick anything up (well no Dinosaurs anyway), only thing of real interest there was Schleich Allosaurus, Triceratops, Brachiosaurs and Parasaurolophus, and I wasn't too fussed on them.
Also there were repaints, or more probably knock-offs, of JP3 Habro toys, some of them downsized, in a box called, I dunno, Dino Hunters or something generic. There was also a giant red electronic T.rex in a set with some other toy soldiers of whatever, but again wasn't interested.
Anway, I picked up today from my local Post Office, courtesy of Dan The Man:
Carnegie Styracosaurus Carnegie Pteranodon Carnegie Dilophosaurus (both) Carnegie Euplocephalus Carnegie Parasaurolophus (older model)
With that I only need one more Carnegie (Plateosaurus, which is hard to find for a reasonable price), and I think that'll be all the currently avaliable Carnegies I want.

Picked up the Bullyland Woolly Rhino at the New York State Museum in Albany yesterday. I had a feeling it was rare, but wasn't sure. With further research, looks like I was right.

The Schleich swan is lovely. I have it too. ;D The male with the wings spread wide, right? It is nice indeed. Couldn't resist buying it when I bought my latest Carnegie. It now sits directly underneath the Carnegie Microraptor.
