That Smilodon is the XL, not the large. AAA has a...special way of designating sizes. Their big hollow ones are the XL figures. Ah, thanks for the info. Yes, it is large and soft ;D New addition, yes ;D I just got Malcolm's amazing Brontotherium! ;D It's a great, affordable piece. Makes a good pair with the Indri Here they are with Hans Happy Dino-figures hunting ;D

Ah, okay. ;D I remember you´re both from the Netherlands and dinonerds are not that abundant there. ;D haha indeed, good thinking ;D Oh come on, dinonerds are hugely abundant here, it's just too few people in the dinosaur toy making business really realize that. After all, the JPtoys boards are overrun by Benelux people (who have also taken over managment of that site ;D), and there's plenty of them over here as well. Just sucks we're living in a largely dinoless country where good dinosaur figures are hard to find. Which is why we're so lucky to score goodies rather easily on occasion (like PV Amphibians and Invicta Troodons). Yay for Dutch Luck!

Yeah, you may be right. ;D ;D ;D We find OG really rare figs, OR nothing... that's with NL Too bad I did'nt bought the Invicta Troodon when it was still available in that museum, when I was 8, I didn't liked dinos with stands. Now I readed they are (one of the) the rarest Invicta's.... stupid me!!!

Sinclair Brontosaurus Very nice. Amazing color on the brontosaurus. Are they true Sinclair figure from the traveling exhibit in the 60's, or mold-aramas made recently? Seem like recent ones based on the colors. Did you get to see the exhibit in the 60s? I did, and somewhere have photos of all of those dinosaurs, including one of myself on a small brontosaurus statue. I have the remnants of those mold-arama figures left from that visit. Unfortunately, several of them later became BB gun targets , so only a few remain relatively complete. I do have several newer copies of those figures that I bought from similar mold-arama machines at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago about 8 years ago. They are smaller versions of the same figures though. Still, they come from the same machines, which are a blast to watch. They have transparent bubble tops that let you see inside as the two halves of the mold join and are injected with wax. Then, the new, toasty warm model is revealed as the molds separate and the figure drops down into a bin for you to retrieve. Ahh, did a quick youtube search - here's a video (maybe that's your triceratops, Stoneage?!):
