Oooo! Who makes these Emperordinobot? The Brachiosaurus (what is it?) is painted beautifully! Where did you find em? * thoroughly intrigued* Those are Dinotales Series 2 figures--Struthiomimus, Sauropelta, Brachiosaurus. And your best bet is ebay, as they are from about 10 years ago

I think the Chirostenotes is a great model. What bothers me a little is that the head is extremely narrow - I don't have any frontal view of a Chirostenotes skull to check the skull's width but it looks a little peculiar. The other thing is the left arm's feathers that are bent inward by the overlapping left knee, I doubt that would have happened too often in reality or the feathers would probably have suffered from repeated contact with the knee. Other than that it is a very elegant model, the hands are especially nice being so gracile (it wasn't named Chirostenotes for nothing ).

New Book! Today I rescued The world of dinosaurs by Michael Tweedie. I was doing some weeding in the library and came across this. The art is unremarkable at best, it's outdated and in really bad shape - should probably have thrown it out, but hey, free book! Now to order some decent new dinosaur books...

I NEED to get that. ...btw, is there any way to remove the base from the Apatosaurus maquette??...it can probably support its own weight...

You can easily remove the Apato from its base, but you'd have to cut the metal rivet from its left hind foot to enable it to stand. This should be done with a professional instrument. Otherwise the Apato might break . I do not even think about that ;D!
