Yay!! More rotting flesh! That's good news! Thanks, Pango! Bet there's gonna be a real good cliff-hanger for these first episodes then!

Foxilized: 2012 awesome, yes. Shaun of the Dead, as I said, was funny, then sucked, then was funny, then sucked. Wait, scrap that. Let's just say I can't make up my mind about it, eh? Sbell: Seriously? You don't know ONE person who liked 2012? No jokes? Wow, just...wow. I actually cannot describe how strange that sounds to me. Are you SURE we were watching the same film? You were not just watching the obligatory Asylum Films ripoff? No? Wow. Was I watching the ripoff, which was actually better than the real film? I don't know. I just loved it. It was a great film to me. But, hey, everyone's entitled to an opinion, eh? I'm assuming that you are talking about the one where John Cusack is a divorced writer who doesn't know his children well...then the world falls apart and he outdrives an earthquake (with his family)...then they go to Hawaii or something (brilliant--when in danger of tectonic activity, go to volcanic islands) and then they go to India to get on big boats (which, if the world is ending, boats don't really seem all that practical). And, of course, the family is reunited, because that's what disasters are for. I think this synopsis summed it up nicely: www.avclub.com/articles/2012,41291/ Also, the whole stupid '2012' end-of-the-world crap made the movie ridiculous before it was even made.

Hey, back from the dead myself, heh, heh! I am loving this show! I hope AMC picks it up for a series. So far, it's just a 6-week mini-series. They Did!! 13 or 14 episodes slated for season two. Begins production in february. Unfortunately Horrorbid reported that AMC won't air the new season til next Halloween...they had such a good buildup this year with their horror fest they want to do it again. So just about a year after these last new episodes.

I'm usually not a huge fan of zombie flicks but I must admit I sat down and watched this show and I think it is very good. I like how Its not just about the zombies its also about the people themselves dealing with their lives and such. Oh and the zombies themselves I think are very well done makeup wise. I find that sometimes they are almost skeletal and othertimes they are just pale humans with some blood on them (yes i understand they are walking corpses and they rot more as time passes but still usually they will lean towards one of those two looks). Here they seem to have found a good mix of the two styles like I noticed some of them have whole pieces of their faces missing and such. I also like how they are slow. Seems like the whole fast zombie thing was a new fad that started cool but got old fast. I think the rigid hobbling slowness is way creepier.

Yes, that's the one, but I think they went to Yellowstone and the boats were in China. And the South Pole moved to Wisconsin. Sorry, just once I see something I remember it forever.

Season 2 premiere was AWESOME! Now this was good writing and acting! Blows Terra Nova off the map in these areas! (However, I thought The Talking Dead live chat afterwards was a little lame.)

Well they did answer one question I had..sorta..about why they were hiding under cars when it was shown earlier the zombies can smell them. Of course T-Dog had a LOT of fresh blood and one zombie body would hide that smell ? I wouldn't think so.
I also can't see why didn't get into the cars and lock the doors or hide inside of them..failing that running into the woods on the other side of the road would also have worked and kept them out of sight.
Aside from those nagging questions it was still a great episode with a few shocks. Changing writers didn't affect anything from what I can tell.
I do wonder if will ever find out what happened to the black guy and his son and were Meryl went..did he lead/ release those zombies on the camp for sure ? :?
Still more questions I guess..lol

LOVED it. Quite different from the comics, but entertaining none the less. I'm excited to see how far from the comics they will venture. Blade, if they do introduce Morgan and son again like they did in the comics you will love it. Merle and bro are not in the comics so not sure how that will play out. Anyone read the comics?

Anyone see the premiere of the second half of season two on Sunday? Looks very promising! And according to what the executive producer was saying on The Talking Dead afterwards, hold on to your hats kids!!! ;D Much more "zombies" and he's real excited about the climactic finish of this second half. I was so emotionally drained after the mid-season finally, with Sophia and all, I can't imagine what they're cooking up for the second half's ending. Totally stoked here! PS ~ I had almost forgotten about Morgan and his son. I hope they do bring them back. Rick used to try and call them every so often, but he hasn't been doing that much in the recent past. In fact, I'm not sue if he did at all in the first half of season two. Hmm.

I think Rick calling them was something for him to do to try and keep his mind busy while dealing with everything. He's dealing with things better now so doesn't really need to call them anymore...that and he has his hands full. Speaking of characters that disappeared and haven't returned..I keep waiting for Meryl to show back up...and not as a delusion. lol I love the joke going around from last Sunday " Two guys walk into a bar. Rick shoots them . " ;D Can't figure why they did take off with the bodies and get out of there...looks like they waited around til after dark. ?

If the show follows the broad plot of the comics (there are already many differences in the details), they're only up to issue 11 or so.
