Hello, I am new here to this forum, but not new to the Internets (heh). I run a Jurassic Park site if the name looks familiar - yes I am that Tyrannosaur of Jurassic Park Legacy. Anyways I've come out of lurking here in search of expanding my Carnegie Collection. I don't do trades, but I do intend to pay with cash. I am PayPal Verified if that helps and will gladly pay fair prices for good conditioned figures. This is what I'm presently looking for, all Carnegie of course: Deltadromeus Protoceratops Sinraptor I am looking for these three to help complete my collection. Help would greatly be appreciated. Also, nice site. I'm glad there's a reference out there for dinosaur figures and collecting.

Hello, and welcome! A small toy store near my home sometimes gets Carnegie Deltadromeus and Sinraptors in. They don't have a regular schedule of new toy shipments, but next time I'm there and see either one of those I can pick them up for you (granted you don't find someone else who has them presently, first!) That could be at any time though, between now and a couple months - like I said they have no rhyme or reason for what dino toys and when

Thanks for the welcome! I wouldn't mind that honestly, and like I said I'll pay the price so long as it's fair. I'm really hoping to locate the Protoceratops. I do love the 1:40 scale and while it's a cheerful diorama, it'd be a nice piece in my collection in the end. I was surprised at how much I actually had and needed to complete. I still need to get the 2007 editions of the models.
Anyways, I had another question still related to hunting Carnegie and that's actually where to find that gosh darn mountain and for a good price as well. Any ideas, suggestions?

You might try contacting a retailer.

I've got one. $89 plus shipping (that's cost from Safari).

I'll definitely have to check my money this week and get back to you on the Mountain, and as well as justifying it to my girlfriend. Heh.

If I am able to find a Sinraptor and Deltadromeus for you, I'd only charge you what the store charged me, though I'd ask for a buffer for shipping too

I bought an extra for myself when our store got some for displays, but I then discovered I don't really have a space for it. Fair warning--it is very light, but really, awkwardly big, so postage might be ridiculous (depending upon service used).

That's the one! That Protoceratops there!
I would not mind the mountain, I've seen how awkward it is though and I think I'd have to make a compromise with the girlfriend if I do it. But I definitely need to get those discontinued first because I don't want to lose the chance to have a near complete collection. Some of my stuff is from '89 (save for the Stegosaurus, Diplodocus, and Apatosaurus which I don't have) and I don't have the newer ones from 2007 when they re-did the colorations again. (So many variants!). I think I'm not that far off to having a complete collection.
To be honest next line I wouldn't mind going after is Invicta or Battat, but I hear Battat is extraordinarily difficult to find.

Double post, with purpose, I secured the long-sought after Protoceratops. I am now setting my sights on Sinraptor and Deltadromeus.

Some news, I've managed to track down Protoceratops, Oviraptor (olde), Deltadromeus, and Sinraptor. I'm currently waiting for my package to arrive with the last three, but I am in definite interest for that pesky mountain.

Are you in need of the Carnegie Acro or mammoth? I should have spares of both.

Double-post since it's been a long time since I last posted. I've been unable to justify to my woman where I will put that mountain so that's a no-go still, but I am still actively interested if that makes sense (I want it, but she won't let me right now until I make room for it. ). I am gathering up the other Carnegies for my collection in the interim since I have plenty of shelf space. So far I've gathered up the Mammoth, Camarasaurus, and Microraptor. In the interim I picked up a Styracosaurus for the Papo line and also branched out and got my first Favorite Co. Ltd. Dinosaur, a Green Tyrannosaurus. I'm curious about the availability of Favorite Co. Ltd. I'm in love with the Spinosaurus they have. Anybody know where to pick one up?
