Does anyone know if there is a way to view a complete list of all the Carnegie Collection figures with relevant information such as release dates and reissues? It would be extremely useful in determining the completeness of a collection but I have been unable to find one thus far.
Thanks for any help.

Wow... Wikipedia seems like such an obvious answer now... Why didn't I think of that? Thanx!

Kind of wish I hadn't seen these pages now. I just realized that my collection is still somewhat incomplete, especially in terms of repaints and re-releases. The collecting goes on...

I would love to see comparision pictures of the original releases and re-releases/repaints. I checked wikipedia and dinosaur collector, but we need a more updated guide with photos of the actual figures, comparisions of early figures with the repaints or re-releases to see more clearly what are the differences between the figures. Does any Carnegie collector here have both versions of the Brachiosaurus before the repaint? It was more like blue/gray and there's 4 versions actually, the gold wash one, the first gray/blue one, the re-release with updated molds and the repaint. I bought a Carnegie Brachio and couldn't figure out if it's the original or the re-release one.

But in terms of unique releases, there's only 3, the gold wash doesn't exactly could as unique. It's just a paint difference, not a different model #

The Mk1 is slightly larger and its tail is curved up, rather than down, so it doesn't touch the ground. I own an original mould Brachiosaurus, as in the photo below:

Yes, especially the size and weight difference is very strange. Height of the smaller figure is 352 mm. The other is 373 mm high and significantly heavier (1318 g versus 1039 g).

So, mine must be the first variation, because its tail is raised above the ground. I'll take its measures to see...

Im really impressed by all of the knowledge of this site's users. Maybe we could make a page comparing all the different variations. Im sure between all of this site's users we could come up with pictures of them all.

Did a collective comparison thread happened? I would like to see the various Carnegie/Safari dinosaurs next to each other, sorted by species, etc.

I have been collecting as many different variations of carnegies as I can find. Mostly it is just differences with the detail level or paint job, or placement of the figure's text. I have an original gold wash brachi but not the other two, not yet.

Even though they didn't re release the Ankylosaurus, and Maiasaura in 2007 their are still a few tiny differences in them. That I would call '2' versions.
