Another painting attempt of mine. This time a model from an exhibition on chinese dinosaurs (not Chinasaurs ;D) They called it Tsintaosaur, but as you may agree, by the shape of the helmet it does more look like a Corythosaurs to me. Anyway, it fits perfectly in line with the Invictas (the fabulous Lambeosaurus shown for comparison). Enjoy

That's the Bessel (?) Museum in Switzerland Tsintaosaurus figure! It became a bit of an enigma here, starting with Libraptor.
And while not a conventional Tsin, it actually has a pretty clear spike on the crest (I believe posteriorly) that lines up with the expected position of the actual animal.
The figure is popular here because of it's very close similarity to Invicta figures.

Unfortunately the Tsintao is temporarily out of print and the curator of the Basel museum can not tell if or when they're getting new ones. She also said she was very surprised by the growing demand for it during the last year .

Hm, I´m not really sure if I have something to do with it ;D Can´t tell if it´s nice to see it´s out of print and I´m one of the few to own it or if I should pity other fans for not having it. A common doubt along us collectors, isn´t it? Why I revive this thread? It´s so old but I see it the first time today, since I bought a custom CollectA Brachiosaurus from michael69 and had to look him and his contributions up. I hope he´s still around here sometimes.

Hi Libraraptor, hope you enjoyed the CollectA Brachiosaurus (which simply did not fit to my "herd".) FYI, have uploaded some dinos to ebay, including some better ones such as the Tsintaosaurus, a Battat Stego, a Bullyland Procynosuchus and Diatryma and some others. Maybe someone gets interested. International bidders welcome.

Nice herd ;D Now my hopes of ever getting a Bessel Tsintao has faded to ZERO! Well, maybe someone will feel sorry for me and get me one
