What dinosaur company makes the most realistic models, guesses anyone? Oh boy, you're going to open up a can of worms here! Depends what you mean by 'realistic'. Do you mean the most anatomically accurate?

I'd say Carnegie or Kaiyodo for accurate, and Papo & Kaiyodo for lifelike.

Papo hands down then. The more recent Wild Safaris are a close second.

Kaiyodo, Papo, Safari/Carnegie
And the now retired Battats are king, IMO

Taking the ENTIRE set of released figures to date, rather than individual animals, I'd rank them like this:
1. Battat 2. Wild Safari 3. Toyway Walking with Dinosaurs Collection 4. Carnegie 5. Papo 6. Procon (this one might be moving up on the list after the 2011 figures are released; Papo's figures are exquisite but not the most accurate) 7. Schleich 8. Bullyland

As far as smaller scale dinos go, its Colorata all the way ...

For life-like appearance and details, obviously Papo, and newer Safari dinos as a close second

Oh boy, you're going to open up a can of worms here! Depends what you mean by 'realistic'. Do you mean the most anatomically accurate? I mean lifelike. Papo all the way, though they are quite different from the real things. WS is a close second; they come in second because unlike papo they don't sculpt each scale individually. I will say that any of the WS marine reptiles are more realistic than the papo plesiosaur, though! Kaiyodo also does some nice models, although most of the affordable ones are quite tiny.

As far as smaller scale dinos go, its Colorata all the way ... have to disagree with you there. Coloratas while desirable by many are quite inaccurate in many cases (carnotaur's arms, lack of feathers on deinonychus, mosasaurus 'fins' etc etc etc), and they can be soft on the details (the water-residing mosasaur had more skin detail than the rhino-like styracosaurus done by colorata).

Perhaps, but they are the most colorful! ;D

I agree with Cordy. I think Kaiyodo are much better than Colorata.

A white and black tarbosaurus, yellow-and-orange camarasaurs, pink eryopses, oh my! ;D

Oh you mean those figures that you need to look at under the magnifying glass? - At least if you're a certain age.... Yeah, they are nice too, when you can see the detail ... I do have a few of them like the Tapejara and the Velociraptor and Oviraptor on its nest ...

If you can't see detail on kaiyodos, I doubt you'd be able to see the scale details on the papo figures (which you of course obviously can). And if you can't, well, I'd say that you're legally blind or are in a state of such malnourishment that death will be upon you at any time

In case of any finished dinosaur collectible out there, I'd say sideshow dinosauria and kinto's desktop models as a close second...
but in case of toys, definitely papo (despite the inaccuracies).

I will say that any of the WS marine reptiles are more realistic than the papo plesiosaur, though! Amen to that...especially the WS plesiosaur (ie. Liopleurodon). When it comes to looking 'lifelike' I must agree with everyone else and plump for Papo (in the toy category) in spite of all the anatomical flaws.
