Hi, I'm new here. I'm not so much into dinosaurs as sharks. Especially goblin sharks and that's how I found my way here. I REALLY would like to buy a APII I DIG Scapanorhynchus. Does anyone have one to sell to me? I've seen them on eBay (see link below) , but then you don't know which one you get. cgi.ebay.com/DIG-FOSSILS-PREHISTORIC-SHARK-DIG-ADVENTURE-/320076610618Also, I like coelacanths and deep sea animals and expect to get some new figurines from Japan soon. I have a few from earlier series by Kaiyodo, if anyone is interested. You can see my shark collection here: www.myspace.com/tenguzameCheers, Goblin girl I'll see what I can find--as I said, the blocks hide what you get, and of the ones where I can see a hint, I haven't seen any Scaps yet (so far as I know, only 3 have come out of the 36 that we ordered last year, and we are down to about 6 now). Ok, so how can you see what you've got? Can I buy them and you dig them out or what?

I can try--I know for sure that there are Orthacanthus, Helicoprion and Megalodon (I know that because, like I said, I've tapped a few to see what I can see). If you buy them from me, I can open them up and send you what I find--that at least saves postage, since the things are very heavy (rocks+metal tools). But if you want me to guarantee a specific shark, in this case the Scap, I can't at this point (there are a few blocks that have held their secrets this long, I can try them again). well thats a cool set prehistoric sharks. are they toys? Which ones do you mean? Although, except for the Neko works and Dinotales, the rest are toys, yes.

As further update to the APII sharks question, I have looked over the ones in the shop--we have 5 left.
There are definitely 2 Orthacanthus, 1 Helicoprion, and 1 Megalodon (you can tell if you tap them right, the sand sometimes falls away and you can see the colour/patterns on a fin).
The fifth one...the sand fell away a lot, but I can't see anything. Because they are either much smaller (Echinochimaera) or skinnier (Scapanorhynchus) it is likely one of them, but I can't be certain since I still haven't actually seen the shark inside.

Just picked this up today at a store in Issaquah, WA and I must say, these are AWESOME! All except the Edestus, which they really goofed up the jaws on. Otherwise a very accurate and impressive collection of obscure prehistoric sharks, with one of the coolest parts being (for me, at least) that nearly half of them fit perfectly into 1:40 scale! These are really getting me excited for the Prehistoric Croc Toob! I want to see a Prehistoric Amphibians Toob next year, with a Crassigyrinus, Anthracosaurus, Eryops, maybe a Diplocaulus... I would advise anyone interested in getting pristine-looking figures to try and pick this toob up at a walk-in toy store where you have multiple copies to choose from, because unfortunately paint scuffs and bent fins abound with toobs, since they have to practically smoosh all the sharks in there in an efficient manner The place I got it from had four of these and I inspected all of them before making my choice, though none of them seemed perfect. In some cases fins were bent at right angles!
