I had a chinasaur apatosaurus when I was a kid. It was rearing up on it's hind legs, front legs flailing like a horse, and it's tail was thick, heavy, and supporting it's weight in a way that was satisfying, if not realistic for the animal. It was a purple-ish brown color, and I loved it because it was huge compared to my JP T-rex, which made for a fantastic set up. I miss it, and I want another one, or something similar. If anyone has something similar that they don't mind parting with, please post a picture and a price. I realize I could try and hunt it down online, but I've decided that I'm going to do most, if not all of my dino-toy shopping on this site.

The biggest rearing sauropod toy I can think of is the Battat Diplodocus...taller than the JP Rex..but not more massive overall : There is the smaller Wild Safari Apatosaurus and CollectA Deluxe Jobaria :

Just a note Spiralhorn, if you do want that Battat Diplodocus be prepared to pay out your *ahem* for one, they usually ask a hefty price.

Oh, the only T-rex that I had was one of those small ones that came in a 2-pack with Spinosaurus. Hmm, I actually wouldn't mind having those again, I really liked the stegosaurus in that line.
That Battat looks awesome, but how expensive would it be? I've seen someone mention that Battats are worth a lot, but I've never seen one for sale.

If you are willing to pay 250 dollars for a silly plastic thing you must be rich. Its even lucky to find one fore 100 dollars. But the wild safari one looks almost the same as the battat one.

Err, not really. The battat diplo is miles ahead of the safari apato. The pose is very similar, but the sculpting quality is not comparable at all.

If that were a Liopluerodon I bet someone would singing a different song eh ? lol Man you had me confused..I couldn't think of one rearing sauropod really bigger than a JP Rex..of course my mind flashed to the bigger guys and girls. The Battat is a Diplodocus, the Wild Safari an Apatosaurus...two diff species.

Has it occurred to anyone yet that both the WS Apatosaurus and Battat Diplodocus are out of production now? The former is becoming more difficult to find as well, although it has only been a couple of years. The two that are actually in production are the CollectA Deluxe Jobaria, and the CollectA Rhoetosaurus. As for the chinsaur--I know which one you mean, I have seen several versions. It is a knock-off of the WS Apatosaurus. Attachments:

Um I don't think you have to be "rich", I've bought a few figures for a LOT of money and I am by no means rich. I think anyone with dedication and patience could save up enough for whatever rare figure they want. Be careful stereotyping everyone on the board who has bought a Battat Diplo as "rich".

I did mention the Rhoet--it is probably the easiest one to find at this point.

You've also got to watch the WS Apato repaints.. I ordered one and it's head sculpt was deformed..one eye lower than the other, ect.

Search "plateosaurus" or such on eBay maybe? At the moment from eBay.co.uk (without international sellers selected) the ONLY results are rearing! Probably not get one much like yours but just thought I'd point to the results as relevant. Good luck on your search! Attachments:
