How much do you want to spend on a Safari Mamenchisaurus? We have one in great condition.

well i got my safari mamenchisaurus today and am disappointed. Its not that great of sculpt. Also was supposed to have no scratches but has several. At least the safaris are easy to touch up. i cant say the same for the thunder beast dinos.
Still looking for one in mint condition with fossil display.

I thought was nice and unique piece...Ely Kish did quite a bit of Dinosaur related art..but these are the only sculptures I'm aware of . Consider when they came out and the rest of the Carnegie pieces from the same time..it's actually pretty good taking all that into consideration.

the issue i have is in the neck area. it has the appearance that it was never fully finishes. as if someone took clay coiled it and never smoothed or evened it out.
my main disappointment though is the fact of the scratches now tomorrow i have to mix paint and try to get it to match to cover up the scratches
