[Pedantry] Those are mostly genera, not species (T.rex is the one species) [/pedantry]

Fixed to show my level of scientific acumen-lol
I am just an artist who likes to make prehistoric critters- I only research as far as I need to-most of the time through work I get all of the science research handed to me by the client- I am basically as non scientist as you can imagine- my studies lie in art, not science to be quite honest-

The museum has two of these old bronze plaques flanking the main stairs out front- nice retro style to them-

Here is a photo of the scale model of the Rush Dilo that I had painted prior to making the full size one for this museum- museum client wanted to work out the color scheme on a smal scale and I needed to work it out before casting it as I wantedto cast the colors into the piece as much as possible due to the outdoor display- weather, and the fact that people can come right up and touch the dino-

Here is a photo showing one half of the Dilophosaurus mold after all of the resin surface work has been done, and all of the fiberglass has been cast over the resin to reinforce it- this shows the steel support framing that we had our buddy Joe do for us- the steel support is fiberglassed into the inside surface of the cast and the two halves of the mold are sealed together- basically this is done by buttering thickened resin along the whole perimeter of both halves of the mold and then bolting the two halves togehter while the thick resin cures. Once the piece is cured the cast comes out of the mold with the steel support integral to the cast-there was a good size steel plate welded to the botto mof the steel support-the tail support that anchored into the cement in the ground screwed into the steel running down the tail inside the cast-hope this all makes sense
