...what would be the first 6 dinosaurs (and other prehistoric creatures) you would produce? Bear in mind you want to have some popular, well-known dinosaurs, but also ones that will appeal to dinosaur collectors. I'm not the expert, but I came up with this: 1. Tyrannosaurus (they sell!) 2. Dimetrodon (a well-known non-dinosaur) 3. Titanis (not enough Terror Birds on the market) 4. Velociraptor (feathered, to make it more accurate!) 5. Icthyosaurus (a cool looking sea creature) 6. Pachycephalosaurus (popular but not overly used)

Einiosaurus Tyrannosaurus Utahraptor Acrocanthosaurus Camarasaurus Hypsilophodon
Personal favorites mostly but I figure they're unique enough to draw attention and familiar enough as well.

My first six would be very boring, so that I could at least have a slight chance of going positive money-wise. Only a few years down the road would I start doing the really cool things.

So you would be Nature's Wonders/RSPCA/Epixx/Procon/CollectA? ;D And yes, they really have gone through that many names!

A feathered dromaeosaur would have to be in there.* Velociraptor would be a good one, or Deinonychus. Oh, and Tyrannosaurus of course, because there aren't actually that many really good T. rex toys. Maybe with a dinofuzz mane ;D
*That I can't just say 'dromaeosaur' is an indication of the number of bald-o-raptors that are still on the market...

Ichthyostega Euparkeria Coelophysis Psittacosaurus Mosasaurus Saurornitholestes Deinonychus and....... Ambystoma Mexicanum ( axolotl) A good selection. A German PHd student here was talking to me about axolotls the other day, for no particular reason...then she said "If only we knew what colour dinosaurs were"...and regretted it ;D

I almost did my NESA presentation on Axolotls but opted for Eastern Fence Lizards at the last minute. But yeah Axolotls...fascinating critters.
Anyway
Deinonychus Tyrannosaurus (Give it some fuzz maybe?) Quetzalcoatlus (Too many stupid toy versions of this guy out there. We need a good one) Lambeosaurus (Why haven't more toy companies done this guy?) Triceratops Ankylosaurus (Too few well done toys of these on the market as well)
