One thing: Giganotosaurus and Argentinosaurus didn't actually live alongside each other. However just relabel the former as 'Mapusaurus' and you're fine...I mean, Luis Rey did!

Didn´t they coexist for 1 million year or so? Before giganoto was definitely gone.... Actually since Giganoto and Mapusaurs are almost identical, there´s little difference... ;D By the way what´s your take on the sabertooth? I made a second version with shorter neck, looks a bit more natural now I think.

Here´s the second sketch I did today: Austroraptor cabazaiAn unusual dromaeosarid, like all the Unelanginae. Very short and almost useless arms, extremely narrow snout with small teeth and quite an impressive size. Of all the family, its the one who most ressemble a modern flightless bird. Its anatomy suggest a diet based on fish and carrion, maybe suited to fill the niche left after the extinction of Spinosaurids in South America, since Austroraptor lack proper tools to be an active hunter and take down prey of medium size. I picture him with a Golden pheasant like plumage and long caudal feathers which once displayed help him to keep at bay the most dangerous theropods who shared its habitat and had a similar size, like abelisaurids and neovenatorids, in the same way the huge mass of some spinosaurids and the sometimes present sail worked as a disuasory element.

Not fast enough !There aren´t too many depictions of Tyrannosaurs defeating ankylosaurs out there. Most of the time is the other way around. But in reality that wouldnt be too hard for Tyrannosaurus as long he avoids the mighty tail thanks to the luck or its agility, since the bone plates armor isn´t a problem for a jaws able to crush bone easily

After a failed ambush, Dromaeosaurus have to face the anger of the agressive Stegoceras!(Before someone says that those two didn´t coexist, it could be any other generic dromaeosaur as well! )

Thank you! I do my best to make them look like they are in motion. Here´s something I did last night, and I´ll post something more later... Cryolophosaurus head in detail:

Very nice. Any reason for the slit pupils? (Not a criticism, just wondering)

Well I tend to follow this rule, I don´t know if you might have noticed it ;D:
-Coelurosaurians: round pupils always, is a must since they are very bird like.
-Rest of theropods: slit or round eyes, depending in which look better and their primitiveness.
-Hervibores: rounded or horizontal in thyreophors, sometimes slanted in small ornithopods since they are more reptile like.

Which wasn't quite what I had in mind. ;D Mnemosaurus decided they were dancing; to which I concurred. ;D

Palms facing outwards? never seen such a thing and I´ ve checked several reconstructions, including Greg Pauls...the clawed thumb is indeed a blunder. (And why you asked about the slit pupils by the way?) Oh, I should have drawn their genitalia if I knew this would make feel Himmapan so uncomfortable ;D

Haha, oh, no, not uncomfortable; I'm merely maintaining the usual semblance of irreproachable delicacy. ;D
All the genitalia there are would be their cloacae anyway. Altogether quite discreet by many standards. ;D

I never knew that there palms faced outwards. Are there any reconstructions that show this?
