Looks awesome. I don't know if its too late but perspective wise I would def move the animals in the background higher up on the paper. For a second I thought they were giant thescelosaurus and mini ankylosaurus. It really only pertains to the level of distance including saurolophus and pachycephalosaurus.
I would also make that drypto face much bigger if it is in the foreground stalking something as small as thescelosaurus. (Assuming its roughly a 20 foot drypto I noticed you said young wasnt sure how young you meant)
Also Quetz necks should be longer.

Its not too late because I´m starting over on a new sheet. This is a just a dirty, rushed sketch to show the distribution of the animals. Perspective isn´t well calculated at all. I agree on the Drypto. Even being a juvenile that one would have the size of a troodon. I just didn´t want it to occupy too many space. Maybe I´ll just show the tip of the snout and not the entire face in the definitive version. Quetzalcoatlus were meant to be in another angle, hence the shortened necks but then again I changed my mind in the middle of it and messed it up. Thescelosaurus is not really small , by the way! 4 meters is quite a bit for a hypsilophodontid. I think a human could ride one. Oh, I almost have finished another drawing, I´ll post it in an hour more or less. I think you will like it.

Yeah but still you understand my point with the distances between the thescelos and the other dinosaurs. I look forward to seeing the finished product!

Yes, I agree on the distances. Keep in mind its not easy to make all of them fit and get the escale right . Still, maybe in the final version I´ll add even more animals, like a big pack of Edmontosaurus. Another thing I started tonight: A Sinornithosaurus ambushing a young Psittacosaurus.

Wow, I love this one arioch! And it has a ton of detail without looking overloaded, you're work is evolving so quickly and wonderfully. How do you do these so quickly?! You're amazing.

Thank you! But do yout think the Velociraptor vs Proto or the Liliensternus pictures still look a bit overloaded then? because in my opinion they came a bit better than this one. They don´t really take too long. I usually start drawing randomly in front of the TV or computer and in one or two hours it becomes something defined. It takes like another hour to do all the details if you don´t have any distraction ( and I have a lot around). If you´re familiar with the anatomy you know instinctively where to put some scales/feathers and orientate them to suggest the shape of muscles and volume of the animal. This morning I did another one, give me some time to clean it up and add some shading..

Last drawing before I go on vacation. I´ll be working in old sketches and improving the colours, but most likely won´t do anything new in some weeks. As you know all comments or criticism, good or bad are welcome! The long necked stegosaur Miragaia and a young allosaurus, too curious to think on his own safety.

Great, good timing as well, coinciding with the new figure.

Ow, I was just saying I wanted to draw a Miragaia too, ha! This is beautiful! I think it's one of your finest -- or at least, one of my own particular favourites of yours.

Well thank you! I would love to see this dinosaur drawed by you, so please do it. ;D I personally believe my finest piece so far is the Velociraptor vs Proto, the dynamism and quality of the textures is still unmatched in the next ones. And not because I didn´t tried! Although I´m satisfied with the Miragaia considering the relative little effort I spent on it. I´m tempted to share some of my old non paleo related sketches , mainly mithologic creatures and creepy monsters.

An old drawing I recently updated, traditional style. I guess you might have heard about this legend, specially the american users. The Jersey Devil: !

Thanks! There´s also some advance on the dragon rider: And, well, I know that I said I won´t do nothing new for some time but finally could´nt resist...there are a pair of things I´m working on while I develop the summer picture. One of them is sort of a size chart of a popular dinosaur family, something new for me...maybe tomorrow it will be finished.

Love the jumping guy, and the way the Raptors are looking at him! I never realised Dromeosaurus was so small, I knew Velociraptor was but never thought Dromeosaurus was around the same size!

Thank you! but its not like the dromaeosaurs stare at the jumping guy, just a humorous reference to these size charts were a human is waving all quiet in front of 4 gigantic theropods. ;D Here´s some advance in the colours:

Very nice dromaeosaurs! The colors look a tab bright, but that's probably just my screen. However, the leg feathers should be facing sideways instead of backwards. Otherwise, how could they sit?

Thanks! but I´m afraid I don´t follow you. Most modern reconstructions show leg feathers (when they have them) pointing backwards, doesn´t they?
