Glad you liked it. Tough initially I didn´t planned it to be funny! The Pteranodon just landed accidentally in their nesting area, so the bird annoyance was quite natural. But im too lazy to draw the eggs, nests an stuff. Now that I´m slowly getting familiar with Photoshop I believe I could present a bit more decent drawings. I think you should apply shading to these. The details would come out so much more.

Thanks for the advice. I think I´ will try that with the nex one. Need to re read the tutorial about shading and I´m a bit tired now. Another update on Stygimoloch: Uploaded with ImageShack.usAnd a test colour scheme in Proto and Velociraptor. What do you think? should I keep it? ;D Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I like the velociraptor. The proto is a little loud for my taste but that doesn't mean its "wrong" by any means.

Regarding the Mapusaurus: it looks bloody awesome but, gah, you've made the arms a little too long. It actually had rather atrophied arms (which obviously meant it was a scavenger )

Yeah, theoretically he stole that prey from the Irritator who killed it. ;D Regarding the arms...I had the same feeling, and I even tried to make them shorter than in most carcharodontosaurid pics I´ve seen! maybe I´ll low that shoulder a little bit... Here´s a little advance on the Spino (jaw and teeth modified ):

Looking better! I really like the colour scheme!
[Anal]Although you appear to have given it lizard-like overlapping scales on the tail...don't do that...[/anal]

Yep. As you can imagine I was veeery tired of doing scales when I reached the tail so I changed the technique to do the rest quickly.
I didnt know theropods couldnt have that kind of scales, by the way :S
I think is my best colouring so far. But I seriously need Photoshop classes, start shading properly and all the advanced stuff.
Currently working on : Deltadromeus head study. You won´t complain about this one! ;D
PS : Spino updated with a tail surgery.

Yeah well no we never found preserved skin from a spinosaurus but there is a decent variety of dinosaur skin on the fossil record and not one has overlapping snake-style scales. Its all pebbly mosaic-style or rectangular croc-style.

No more overlapping scales then ! tough I think its not unlikely that some primitive dino had them... A quick glimpse at Deltadromeus: An update on Utahraptor (does the head looks too small?)

Love the colors..the head maybe a bit too small...but not by much...as is reminds me more of Deinonychus. Maybe this will help.

I wouldn't worry about making it look too much like another dromie especially dienonychus. Its a pretty fragmentary dinosaur. We have no clue what the actual head looks like but proportionally speaking i suppose it could afford to be a little bigger sure.

Thank you guys! Here´s the second version with enlarged head (there wasn´t room to make the snout longer) based on Deinonychus. Any thoughts in Deltadromeus? Oh, and the other dromies so far:

Was the skull of deltadromeus ever found? I don't know much about that dinosaur.

The complete skull has never been found IIRC, but there are some fragments from several specimens. I based my drawing on this reconstruction:

I like the updated Utahraptor...but the eye looked better on the last one I think.
