So the stars aligned nicely this past weekend and I was able to complete my basement shelving project for my pterosaur and dinosaur collection. The collection focus is still pterosaur-centric but the dinosaurs are certainly now holding their own. Ah this forum - how it corupts... There are a number of pterosaurs and dinosaurs that are not shown in the photos (my JP pterosaurs, chinasaur pteranodons (gotta love those toothy smiles and long tails), my metal JP figures, the diecast JP, yowies and assorted others). Another shelving project is in the offing but I figured I would share the current state. Overall Shot Unpainted Invictas Favorite Co. Ltd and some of the Colorata Kayaba/Tomy(?) Would appreciate the group correcting me on this one. I know it is not the Robert Bakker series (those are below). Kayaba - Robert Bakker ones Yowies Lost Kingdom Fish plus WS Dunk. Dinotales Fishes The Pterosaurs ROM Burgess Shales Figures Marx & Some Bullyland The Marx are from my boyhood - my parents gave them to me for Xmas - so many moon ago... Linde and ROM dinosaurs My three Battats - not really collecting these. Came across them in bits and bobs with other things. Plus on the lower shelf the WS Fossil sharks tube. Cheers.

Than-you for the compliment.
The wooden "plank" shelves are 1"*6" pine boards cut to length and painted with Varathane.
For the Favorite specials I was fortunate to have a work colleague with a family member in Japan.

What's up with that black corythosaurus among the invictas? That's the Bessel Museum Tsintaosaurus--apparently a special issue figure from one European museum that is no longer available (and is very similar in style to the Invictas). It has been mentioned on this forum a lot! ;D And Dean, I really hope that I will be able to crowd your shelves a little more soon (CollectA should be here within a week unless I am being lied to...).

The large orange and black striped Pteranodon is made by Favorite Co. Ltd. It is part of their Vynil Dinosaur collection - has six different dinos in it. The Favorite website has a number of wonderful dinosaur products. f-favorite.net/SHOP/70661.htmlThe sad part is that like a number of other Japanese companies - they will not ship/sell outside of Japan. I got him via the Black Hills Institute www.bhigr.com/store/home.php?cat=50

It has been mentioned on this forum a lot! ;D It's Basel Museum, not Bessel Or to be more precise: Naturhistorisches Museum Basel - it's in Switzerland. But of more importantance is of course: what a wonderful collection! I see a lot of stuff I'm not familiar with, cool! And good to see you have so much shelf space And those ROM Burgess Shales Figures - I've seen them on the forum a few times, they are really nice! But where could I get those? I've tried ebay a few times (not consistently though), but without any succes.

Sbell is correct about the Tsintasaurus - not an Invicta but shares a kinship (in form & style) so I put it with my Invictas. Excellent news regarding the CollectA!

Great collection, and so organized! I need to re-organize all my toys... And I recognize that robot arm, too ;D Where did you get it, again? The Fanuc LR Mate 200iC. I work with robots and have used this arm before. Fanuc has scale models of all their arms that they sell. Used for promotions and give-aways.

You may have to go back & forth on the postage a bit but they are well worth it. www.rom.on.ca/collections/toys.phpAlas, the ROM dinosaurs are extinct...

The Ornithomimus is a great little figure and much appreciated (Thanks to Libraraptor). I found the ROM Stenopterygius in an eBay auction that had a couple of other ROM Parasaurlophus figures with it. It was more luck than skill.
