eBay might be your best bet for most of those.

Yup. I'm aware of this fact; however, if YOU can find ANY of those items on eBay mint, loose, and complete... please let me know. They... uhm don't exist.
I thought I'd use this forum to hedge my bets as was recommended by your administrator. I also prefer to deal with specialists.

I think TRUE "mint" items don't really exist on or off ebay unless you buy mint in the box, except for the rare occasion that the original owner of the piece is also a collector and just happens to be selling. Boxed DR's are common on eBay, but very expensive as you probably already know. IMO that is the ONLY way to guarantee that it is both mint and complete. Good luck though. Although it might also depend on your definition of mint. Do you mean something without any paint rubs or wear whatsoever, or just something that is not very beat up and still works? Most of my DR's fall into the latter category. They are not mint, but most have only a few very small rub marks in the usual places (tail tips, horn tips, beak tips, etc). I too am a stickler for things being mint, but I can make an exception for toys that are as old as I am!

Unfortunately, since I insist that things are ABSOLUTELY MINT, I've been buying LOTS of... well... Dino-Riders "lots" and then piece them together. Then I resell the incomplete extras and leftovers.
This is the ONLY way to ensure minty-mint and unfaded/unbroken Dino-Riders items apart from spending $875 for a MISB T-Rex (NOT kidding--as I'm sure you know).

Hey, if you ever have any of the following in "close-to-mint" condition that you don't want, let me know: -Kentrosaurus (dark-backed DR version) -Diplodocus -Wooly Mammoth -Monoclonius (DR version) -Styracosaurus (DR version) -Placerias I still need those to complete my collection. I have SIX of the kent's as a result of trying to find just ONE that is close to mint. I do have one that is actually technically mint, but it is a smithsonian one, and the two halves of the body were glued together out of alignment. All the others either have bad eyes or they are the light-backed version (or in the case of one, the painter forgot to airbrush spots on one side). If it's not one thing, it's another it seems.

I am currently looking to get rid of at least 5. My want/sale/trade thread is in the classifieds section.
