Can't wait to see the pics! ;D LOL! ;D You know, I'm pretty sure he has some ideas of how much that thing can go for ;D Hmmm we should all pitch in and buy that figure, then we all rotate having it in our collection for a month, before it moves on to the next ;D That way we can all say we had that darn figure in our collection, you know, like time sharing? ;D

cheers for the interest guys, any one wanna make an offer or recommend best place to raise interest? I think you're in the right place to raise interest--but I think that people are a little wary of what the price should be. See, I could make an offer that I can reasonably afford, and won't get killed by my wife. But I know that it should cost more than that, so I won't bother (and wouldn't expect you to either)--and I think that is true of many here.

I am getting married later in the year, do you think my Fiance will understand if we postpone it for a while? ;D

Other than that, no one has ever even seen one for sale, hence the assumption that it should be expensive.

As far as the figure goes, the market value is whatever you find someone to pay for it. Maybe an ad in Prehistoric Times? That would certainly hit the right audience (don't know how expensive that is, but ebay will charge you a pretty penny if it sells well too). I would ask at least a grand ($1000) if you go that route as an ad in PT would hit the 'serious collectors' market. Then you can negotiate from there .... ...just my 2cents worth ...

PT ads are free to subscribers. If you're not a subscriber and are interested in dinosaurs and prehistory and such, it is worthwhile to do so.
