Well, here we are, at the end of the new release season
Theres always a bit of sadness when all the new releases are finally out and on the racetrack.
I just got the Carnegie Carnotaurus yesterday. It's a beautiful piece for sure, the best toy of the species out. The paint and colors are nicely combined, in fact its perhaps the best color scheme they have come up with in a while, IMHO
With that arrival, my quest for all of Safari's 2011 offerings comes to a close.
It's been a nice season for Safari, finally, they have ventured into the more riskier territory by releasing some obscure and never before offered species.
It would be nice if they continue to do so in the future. The quality of the figures are all wonderful. They have continued to produce top quality toy models. Now, if they could just get away from those tripod poses... and perhaps time to retire the color pallet and move on to something different. It's been a few years now since they started the Olive/Brown combo ;D
Anyway, looking back, here they are, the 2011 Safari figures (okay, there are more toob figures out, but nothing that I will be getting soon)
The newest addition, Carnegie CArnotaurus!
Oh so tiny arms! ;D
Beautiful face
With Miragaia
Move over, Battat! A new Queen has arrived! ;D
The duo: Simply the best!
The Safari 2011 Group
WILD SAFARI GROUP
Inostrancevia
Kaprosuchus
Edmontosaurus
Guanlong
And T-rex
All together
CARNEGIE PAIR
Canotaurus

Together
PREHISTORIC LANDSCAPE

Prehistoric Crocodiles
So there you have it, the Safari 2011 figures in full color ;D
Cheers!
